Paris Hotel Buffet 1/13/2007

The Le Cafe Ile St. Louis is an interesting buffet. It's very "cute" and touristy, while maintaing that Vegas buffet style that many of the resorts have. Interestingly, I experienced a much more family atmosphere than I am used to with Vegas. The food was...ok. Compared to the genuine article it can't obviously compare, but it's not entirely inedible either. Lots of meat and veggies. The dessert bar is fantastic and worth the price, if nothing else. My big complaint is the layout. The restaurant is laid out so that it feels like you are eating at a cafe in the middle of a bunch of other cafes. Look, I've been to Europe and eaten in this type of atmosphere. While a street may be crowded with cafes, they still maintain some order. Le Cafe does not do this. Also, one bathroom? One. Bathroom. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, considering that this restaurant has a family audience that they are attracting. Overall, not my first choice of buffet to go to. more

The room was great, but skip the casino. 9/24/2006

My Mom and I just spent three nights at the Paris Hotel and Casino. We were very happy with our room, which was spacious and had an awesome bathroom. It took me a while to pinpoint exactly what I didn't like about the casino, and then finally I got it: there is NO natural light. It always feels dim and a bit dingy. Once you've spent any time at all in the Bellaggio or Wynn you'll see what I mean. It just has a dark sort of dank feeling about it. So we didn't gamble there, but enjoyed our room very much. more

The best resort in Vegas 9/9/2006

We've stayed at Paris Las Vegas many times. It is our favorite hotel/resort to stay at. The theme is really fun, and they have the best bakeries (obviously!), and buffets. They have a really good breakfast buffet with crepes and French pastries. Their slots are of course fun to visit! The rooms are luxurious and the spa is extravagant and relaxing. more

Very Nice Spaces, Great Atmosphere 7/27/2006

Paris Hotel is awesome - from the replica Eiffel Tower and Arc they have put a tremendous effort into showcasing a Perisian atmosphere in the middle of the desert. There is a very nice casino space as well as many dining and shopping options as you stroll through this massive building. I really enjoyed my visit here - I did not stay in the hotel, so I cannot comment on the rooms, but if they are anything related to how nice they keep the public areas - I would say they have to be great. I would consider staying there on a future visit to Las Vegas. It is very centrally located on the strip, next to the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood and Ballys and across the strip from Bellagio. Make sure you visit Paris in Nevada!! more

Great use of theme. 6/14/2006

I really enjoyed visiting Paris casino - It is very wide open and easy to walk around. The Perisian theme is done tastefully and provides plenty to look at while wandering around the property. The 1/2 scale replica of the Eiffel Tower is beautiful - we did not go up to the top, but it was quite a sight from the ground. The entrance through the 2/3 replica of the Arc was also beautiful. I would make Paris a must see property on a trip to Las Vegas! more

I love the Paris hotel and casino .. It is just beautiful and romantic.. I have never stayed there nor have I gambled there - but the overall atmosphere is my favorite. The fountains, and the fake sky ceiling are waaay better than the one at Cesears Palace.. And the Eifell Tower replica was AMAZING at night.. Positioned so that you can see the water show across the street.. It was an amazing view of all the strip at night.. I believe it was $7.00 a person but worth it.. Avoid if you are afraid of looong elevator rides or heights ! The Paris hotel is one of the best places to go with a lover or a date more

The EIFFEL TOWER EXPERIENCE 4/16/2006

The PARIS HOTEL & CASINO is in a great location on the Las Vegas Strip. Inside the casino are the glass elevators that will whisk you up to the top of the recreated Eiffel Tower. From the top of this man made wonder you can see and photograph the best views in Las Vegas. The scene is best viewed at night when the Strip shines like diamonds in the middle of the desert, and seems to explode with colored light. A beautiful and romantic experience that you should not miss. more

Favorite Buffet in Vegas! 4/15/2006

We ate at the Le Village Buffet, and thought it was really great. Everything that we tried was amazing, and the desserts were even better! There were a group of 19 of us, so we got a private room, and everyone had a great meal. Not one person had a bad thing to say about the food. Everyone wanted to go back! more

Paris Hotel, Las Vegas 4/12/2006

One of Las Vegas' newest hotels is Paris. The interior of the hotel is magnificant with French-like decorations. Most of their restaraunts are Americanized French foods. Their buffet is great and serve authentic French food made by people from France (or so they say...). The rooms themselves are great and the deal we got by booking the plane and hotel together couldn't be better! A whole week cost less than $700 for room and round trip flight. more

Fun and really nice! 4/9/2006

Paris in Las Vegas was really nice. We especially liked the cute boutique shops outside the casino corridor. We didn’t stay there, so I can’t comment on the rooms, but it’s definitely worth visiting the hotel and casino for the atmosphere and shops and gambling alone! Also, you can take a ride up in the glass elevator to the Eiffel Tower right on the Vegas strip! more

What a beautiful Casino! We visited Paris while on vacation in Las Vegas. I wish we could have stayed there too! The casino is large and wonderfully decorated! You feel like you are walking the streets of Paris on a moonlit evening! Every employee I came in contact with was friendly and the cocktail waitresses came to the tables and slots often. I highly recommend giving this casino a visit when in town! more

Love the atmosphere! 1/13/2006

Paris Las Vegas is one of the best locations on the strip- it's right in the middle of all the action. Directly across the street is the Bellagio and if you are lucky enough to have a room facing the strip, you will have a fantastic view of the Bellagio fountains going off across the street. And the room are very nice. The casino here is small and manageable(a nice break from getting lost at the other casinos). You lose yourself in the atmosphere and feel like you are in Paris. I did not try the buffet, but we did have crepes. They were delicious. It does tend to get crowded here at peak times, so avoid those times if you prefer less crowding. more

oooh lala: it's worth the visit just to see the loobby. It is the definition of opulence -- very differennt from thhe casinoo and shops which are made too loook as if they are Parisian streets. The buffet is oone of the best in town,, but only foor lunch oor dinner:: the brunch lacks variety and is 50% sausage. The hotel has a small versioonn oof the eiffel tower which provides a greaat view oof the middle of the las vegass strip... Over all the casino is quite small and the shops are too high-end to interest mme. Again, the entertyainment area is quite smalll, so this is moore of a place too stay aloong the way rathher than a destinatioon. more

Highly recommended 8/24/2005

This buffet was great. Nice interior, taste, design, everything. Their seafood was high quality. They serve much kind of food including international dishes, cheese and dessert. Considering their quality, the price was not high at all. Lunch buffet was $17.95 from 11:30am to 5:30pm, and dinner buffet was $24.95 (December 2004). The difference between lunch and dinner seemed only some seafood like crab legs and oysters. more
