My matron of honor and I went out of our way to visit this store based on all of the positive reviews found on this site. To say that it was not a pleasant experience would be an understatement. \r
\r
1. the store smelled OLD - dusty, dank, and moldy\r
2. We had an 11:00 appointment, but were left waiting for 30 minutes. Not sure if this is the norm, but we weren't even greeted for the first 10 minutes we stood there. \r
3. The fitting room wasn't a 'room' at all. It was a partial curtain that went from the ceiling to my knees (not the floor) and completely opened up to the stock room on one side (i.e. NO privacy). Quite honestly, I felt exposed and embarrassed as I was left standing there half naked for a good amount of time while the sales girl went off to find dresses. Instead of providing me a robe or at least leaving me in a dress, I was promptly removed from each dress and left standing around in no clothes while the sales girl went off to find another dress (she never brought more than one at a time).\r
4. The store did NOT provide a bra for trying on dresses\r
5. The sales girl was quite rude - she never asked me what I liked or wanted. When I didn't like the dresses she pulled, she asked me ""well, why did you come here?!"" When I tried to describe a dress I had seen in a catalog, she said to me quite snarkily, ""Well, if you liked it so much, why didin't you buy it?""\r
6. The selection of dresses was very limited for a store that supposedly has 3,000 gowns in stock. Several of the dresses were very dirty and dated. They only allowed me to try on a total of FOUR dresses. When I didn't like any of them, they told me it was all they had for me and I should shop somewhere else. \r

This was by far NOT the pleasant experience others have written about on citysearch - it was not a good experience at all. I left feeling disappointed and offended by the way I was treated. \r
