Pappy's Pet Lodge

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!! First time we dropped off our dogs, upon picking them up, there was an employee cursing out one of the dogs she was taking care and being overly aggressive with it. So after reporting that to the manager, supposedly she was fired and were so sorry we had to see that. So we tried them again and suddenly our rate per night went up after we were promised they would honor our previous price plus the staff was EXTREMELY RUDE. When we asked about it, they said they might be able to fix it for next time. I had to talk to the regional manager who gave us credit for the some of the difference. However when we went the third time to get the dogs and our cat this time, they ""forgot to apply the credit"" and had we had to argue with them to get them to apply it plus suddenly the rates were different again! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO GO AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXTRA MONEY TO SPARE FOR THE RATE CHANGES!!!!! more

My min-pin, Kona, LOVES going to Pappy's on Coit when I travel for work - He's been staying there for over 3 years now! The staff is so friendly and I can tell he's very well taken care of! Their grooming and daycare services are excellent for the longer stay, plus they have a referral program - so tell them Lindsey Roberts sent you! :) more

I have 4 dogs of my own and 2 foster dogs that I bring for daycare and boarding to Pappy's in Rockwall. When we get there Mary Jane, Dutch, Penelope, and Comiskey run right in and don't even look back. Knowing they love it there, and being able to check in on them with the webcams really puts me at ease. When our dog rescue was not able to board my foster dogs, Pappy's took them right in at the last minute! The staff is very friendly (they always remember the dogs names:-) and the facility is always clean. more

I am very impressed with Pappy's Pet Lodge. It is very clean and they have great boarding options. It seems like all the people who work there love pets so I know they are well taken care of when I am away. susan threadgill more

My dogs London and Dutch love this place, and so do I. The staff is so friendly, and will let you know how your dog's day went, they are super caring. i have boarded mine once there and they had no problems at all, I a\'m not sure if they wanted to come home....i give it a 10++++++ rating. more

I have used Pappy's Pet Lodge on Coit in Plano for almost 2 years now for my 2 Shih Tzu's...Lucy and Jake! Love them for boarding AND especially for their great day care! My babies love going there, and are so tired from playing when they get home. Highly recommend them!\r Sherry M. more

We have been using Pappys for several years now for Charlie and Whiskers. They are happy there and the staff is very attentive. We have watched the lodge video to check on the dogs during the day and they have been well cared for. We would recommend Pappys! more

I've used Pappy's Pet Lodge for my dogs and cat for 8 years. The staff is always very friendly. My dogs get so excited when we tell them they are going to ""camp"" at Pappy's. Its a good feeling to know I don't have to worry about my pets when I'm away. This summer the George Bush location was sold out and I had the opportunity to use the Pappy's location at Springcreek/Coit as well as the location at Ohio Drive/Plano Parkway and found the level of service to be consistent at all 3 locations. Nice to know I can you any location and have the same great experience! more

I've been a client of Pappy's Pet Lodge since it opened 6-7 years ago. I've used all 3 locations and feel the staff and experience is the best fit for my dog. I recently boarded over Spring Break when I had a last minute business trip and the team at Pappy's worked hard to get my baby in for boarding. She returned home happy. I was able to watch from my hotel room in Seattle while she played in daycare and it was adorable. I love their grooming team, I've used almost all of their groomers on several occasions and have never been disappointed and I have an ""active"" bichon. I just recently boarded my pets with Pappy?s Pet Lodge and could not be happier. I typically use their daycare and grooming services but had to go out of town for the holidays. The staff knows my pets every time I walk in the door and treat me as if I truly matter. I?ve always had luck with their groomers and love that they have webcam access that I can log on to watch my pets play while in daycare. I even got a report card when I picked them up to let me know how they did while they were there. The staff at Pappy?s is truly thoughtful and I wouldn?t trust my pets with anyone else.
