great cajun food 3/16/2006

This restaurant has friendly and professional waitstaff as well as a very cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The food is always great and the portions are hearty (I always have to box stuff up). I'm a big fan of the Mixed Seafood Grill as well as Greek Salad. Yes, it is not cheap, but I think the food is totally worth it. more

Go for the appetizers alone! 9/13/2005

In all honesty all I've ever eaten here are the appetizers but they are worth the trip alone! Go with a group and order up, there is enough for everyone to get a good taste. They have always been really nice about doing this also...but considering every appetizer costs around $8 - $10 dollars they really shouldn't complain. Be prepared to drop some bucks here, as they are not cheap....but worth is for a splurge! more

Crawfish Night! 8/10/2005

This Pappadeaux located in Westmont is not as good in terms of what they have to offer compared to the one in Arlington Heights. First of all, it is a bit smaller and only one floor and also they do not offer Lobster night, but instead Crawfish night from last i saw. I have not been here for a few years, since i favor the other one, so i do not know if they added anything to their menu. Stil ltheir fish is awesome and also i tried their fried alligator, which does taste surprisingly like chicken. If you want a nice family restaurant or even a nice candle lit date place, this is a nice place to go to. It is very booked on special holidays so please call in advance to reserve a table. more
