My Eye Doctor 1/4/2011

I have been a patient for 25 years and have always felt at home in his offices. He has kept track of the health of my eyes for a long time now and I trust his judgement. He's thorough and has no problem explaining why he's performing a specific procedure. He's a good listens and gives feedback as needed. He knows what he's doing so I feel confident that he will be my eye doctor for many years to come. more

Eye Value Allan Panzer 12/29/2010

I have been a patient for over 20 years and I must say that Dr. Panzer has served me well for all those years. He and his staff are very patient oriented in assuring that all of the necessary examinations, analysis, and fittings for lens and frames are done in a very professional manner. I recently had a macular pucker problem which he discovered and his recommendations and referral to an excellent surgical specialist were of the same high standards. The experience and surgery was completed with excellent results. A similar experience with a cataract resulted in the same professional experience with excellent results. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else 11/17/2010

Dr Panzer was not my first eye doctor, but he will be my last. I wish every professional and service that I employed did it as well and as thoroughly as Dr Panzer does. I don't know about you , but I am so sick and tired of poor customer service and half assed services. I am always well taken care of at Dr Panzer's. All eye doctors are NOT the same. I had to find out the hard way, so if you are reading this please learn from my mistakes and see him... I apologize for the pun, but you won't be sorry. It is clear that Dr Panzer cares. He cares that you are seen quickly, he cares that you are dealt with professionally, and he cares that you are taken care of. He listens, he doesn't push and most importantly - thanks to him I can see clearly. And not just me, I have recommended him to everyone that needs eye care, including my mother who has many health issues. Not only does Dr Panzer treat her respectfully and expertly, he cares enough to look beyond his charts. He has called her months after an exam when he discovers new information, even an eye exercise that has given her more comfort with less drops. And he has state of the art equipment that fully examines your eyes. I was expecting to just read charts and hear ""is this one better or that one?"" Well he's got a lot more going on than that. Machines that make me confident that my eyes are well taken care of. And you can tell that Allan really examines the findings to make sure you get the proper diagnosis. Add a nice selection of frames and an attentive staff and well, at my age a regular eye exam is necessary but now it isn't a pain. He has saved me time, money and heartache, I couldn't ask for more. Now if I could just find a cellular phone service that treated me this well.... more

You Are The Best at What You Do!!!!! 11/11/2010

I have been a patient of Dr. Allan Panzer since 1982. He is by far the best eye doctor I have ever had and trust me; I had many prior to being referred to him. Dr. Panzer actually saved my job by providing an eye prescription that allowed me to read the mandated data. I have referred a number of relatives, friends and co workers to him, who have all been satisfied with the service they received. Dr. Panzer has also helped my friends who were unable to pay for their service due to a lack of insurance. I really don't have to say how impressed I am with Dr. Panzer’s knowledge and skills because, I have been a loyal patient of his for almost 30 years and that speaks for itself. more

Best Eye Doctor in Houston! 11/5/2010

I have been going to Dr. Panzer for years and he is the greatest, the service and attention he provides is by far the best I've received. I will continue to see him as long as he is in business, no pun intended. If you need an eye guy, go see Dr. Allan Panzer and you will not be disappointed. more

Houston best eye doc! 11/4/2010

I moved to Dallas-Fort Worth, but I drive to Houston whenever I need to have my eyes checked. The reason I do this is because I had RK 18yrs ago, and it didn't go so well, & Dr Panzer is the only person who was able to properly fit me in both contacts in glasses so I can see almost 20x20 again. \r \r As a result of all my efforts to see again, when it comes my eyes I only trust 1 person, and that's Dr Alan Panzer. more

Quality Patient Care 8/26/2010

When Dr. Panzer saw my 6 yr old son for a persistent ""stye"" on his eyelid, he showed genuine concern and compassion. He is a truly gifted and skilled physician who immediately recognized my son needed surgical intervention. He went out of his way to put my son and I on the proper path to resolve the situation. I was truly impressed with Dr. Panzer's expertise and quick response. He took the time to contact referring physicians and follow-up with my son's case despite of his busy schedule. Dr. Panzer and his staff were very professional and courteous, and I'd like to express my appreciation for our experience with them. He was more than helpful and caring and I would highly recommend his office. more

Very Experienced at Treating Post Corrective Surgery Patient 8/4/2010

I am a post RK patient who was told by several doctors that I would never be able to wear contacts again and discovered Dr. Panzer several years ago and he has been able to fit my very difficult eyes with both soft and hard contacts that let me function without glasses again. He's very professional and has a lot of expertise at treating post RK and post Lasik patients, I wouldn't go to anyone else. more
