Never Again! 11/27/2009

I have been eating at Pancho's Mexican Buffets for 40 years now. Started at the Pasadena, TX location when I was 7. This was the worst experience I have ever had. The food was either cold or burned. The worst thing you can eat is cold mexican food. I think it has to do with the fact that it is a self serve buffet unlike all of the other pancho's where servers keep the food hot and fresh. The enchilada's had sat there so long the gravy turned black and crusty. You will be in for a big disappointment if you go eat here until management changes. Cons: Worst food ever more

tried the new buffet 5/30/2009

i have been to every panchos in the country, beginning with the very first one in north richland hills, tx. some are better than others, but this one should not be allowed the panchos name. the food isn't hot, and the taste is wrong. was really hoping for the ""real thing"". Pros: had plenty of seating and servers Cons: none of the food tasted like panchos more

PANCHO'S MEXICAN BUFFET 8/25/2007

OUR FAVORITE FAMILY RESTRAUNT FOR YEARS. WE MISS YOU (POST KATRINA) PLEASE COME BACK.YOUR BUFFET WAS SECOND TO NONE. THE FAMILY ATMOSPHERE AND FUN DINING EXPERIENCE IS SOMETHING WE HAVE NOT SEEN DUPLICATED. Pros: EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE Cons: SOMETIMES LONG LINES AT BUFFET more

More Please!! :O) 8/20/2003

Whenever I travel to New Orlenas, I always try to make my way to Pancho's even if it means bypassing Commander's, Mother's and all those other places. I was born and raised in Texas, and this is GOOD Tex-Mex food. And, if you didn't get enough the first time, just raise that little Mexican flag on your table, and you can get more brought to you. The food is fresh and tasty and there lots of it. Pros: Great food, Good parking, Inexpensive Cons: Sometimes crowded, Lot of traffic more

The Best Place You'll Ever Regret 5/16/2002

Oh, Pancho's can be hard on the stomach lining, but man, is it worth it. This cafeteria-style institution makes a token effort at Mexican restaurant atmosphere, but it's not the pinatas or the Mexican flags on each table that reel customers in. It's the greasy but great-tasting tacos, flautas, tamales and enchiladas. The best part? You don't have to actually get up and move to grab more grub...just hoist the flag and a waitperson will come to your aid, allowing you to hide the fact that your stomach has gotten stuck between the table and your back. You'll regret that stomach-achey feeling a few hours later, but you'll be glad you did. Pros: Great food Cons: Greasy more
