The Pantry is great for two things: Long lines and tourists. The pancakes are good, but unless you choose your breakfast locations by the number of different ways you can get your pancakes, it's not deserving of its reputation. As a nearby resident, better choices close to the Pantry include Noshville, Easy's in the Village, and Tin Angel, which has a wonderful Sunday brunch. Add to the mix a non-family friendly atmosphere and a staff that's forgotten why they're so rushed (it's the customer, stupid), and it's a wonder how this eatery has lived off of location and folk-lore for so long.
Pros: Pancakes, Location
Cons: Lines, Staff, Ambience
