This is undoubtedly one of the most advertised (and visited) restaurants in Gatlinburg. Known virtually 'everywhere' for their dozens of types of pancakes. I have to admit - I just don't understand the hype. Is the food good - yes, its OK. Is the setting attractive - - yep, it is. That said - you will possibly wait in line for at least on hour - be herded into a very crowded place and be served a breakfast that is ""bountiful"" - but, in the end, very average - and quite expensive for what it is. Nice folks - everyone recommends the place - and the food is good. Truthfully though - I have been through it twice - and won't go through it again.
Pros: Nice Setting, nice people, great variety and ""on the drag"".
Cons: Long, long wait - you feel ""herded"" - good (but average) food that is expensive.
