Pampered Paws Dog Walking & Pet Sitting

I loved this place from the moment I walked in. Greated with a hello right away and thought the place smelled lovely (shampoo with a hint of wet dog). The only ""mess"" I noticed was the hair surrounding a dog that was in the middle of being groomed (omg, call the fire department). There is the most wonderful little pig that will say hello to you too (I have to admit not a pig person until I met him). My dog was wonderfully groomed and while she was a little shaky and scared I had to remind myself she has the brain of at best a 3 year old child and for a lot of mothers out there I'm sure you can remember you toddler not being to fond of their haircuts at that age (my mother reminds me I screamed bloody murder). I saw how they were handling dogs in the grooming area and it was about as calm as atmosphere as you can get. GO HERE if you want to be a happy customer! more

I have a maltese who I have taken to this shop twice now. Both times I was not happy with the service and the groomers. I was shocked at how my dog was scared and shaking. She I took her home she was sick and kept vomiting. The place smelled bad and was dirty looking. Tables covered in what looked like a lot of junk. I could not believe how a place run so poorly would still be in business. I will never go back!! more

i have a finicky bunny who is not the most friendly or cuddly little guy, but i love him all the same as he brightens my every day with his little qwerks...anyways, with him being anti-social, it makes it very difficult to catch him when it is time to have his nails trimmed. i absolutely hate having him stuck in his cage any longer than necessary. as i feel that i am being a mean mommy. \r the point i am getting at is that i think it is fantastic that they, at this particular location, are open 7 days a week. \r \r also, i have had a difficult time finding even a vet that charges reasonably to do a nail trimming-if they even offer it--not to mention having to play the waiting game once i'd arrive for the appointment that was made, like, 5 days prior--argh!! it is stressful enough on him having to be cooped up. (not to mention going outside, in the car, and then having to wait all that time?)\r don't get me wrong-i am glad that the vet tech is taking that time with each individual animal, and would hope for the same type of care for mine, but when i am simply there for a nail trim? it is just such a ""to do"" that i thought to myself, 'this has to be simpler!'\r \r and it was! not only are they open seven days a week, they are close to my home, and they allow me to just simply walk in. no waiting. i can hold him while they do it, and it is the most calm he has ever been for this unruly yet necessary task, and the cost can't be beat! the staff is fantastic and friendly as well as knowledgable. \r great job, you guys! thank you so very much!\r kooper's mom =) Pros: knowledge, patience, great customer service more

We brought in our Maltese who was very matted due to our bad puppy parenting skills and the staff there was so kind, understanding and helpful. They took the time out of their busy schedule to go over some helpful hints and show us some tools to use to avoid having to shave our puppy in the future. We did not know that we should be using a metal comb and combing before and after baths at home! We did have to shave her because we let her get so matted. Trying to yank those mats out would have been torture to our little baby. The staff was very patient with us and our ignorance in this situation. They were even able to save some hair on the top of her head and gave her a bow! They made her look BEAUTIFUL! Thank you Pampered Paws!!! Pros: Great staff! Educational! Convienient Cons: none! more
