Palmetto Breeze A Med Spa

I am so relieved to see that other people experienced what I did at this office. I took my child there for a minor skin irritation. We got stuck with Dr. Richard White. He did not care to hear what I had to say about why we were there as new patients, and he pretty much told me to sit down and shut up. He seemed to really enjoy his own sense of humor, which was very disrespectful and rude. He also seemed to delight in hearing himself talk. I guess with some people, to try to make someone else feel small makes them feel better about themselves. Great knowledge or not, this guy is a total jerk. I intend to report him to his medical board, and I am curious to know if they ever see reviews like this. He did not even examine the affected area of my son's legs. He looked only at the tops of his feet, which were unaffected to begin with. I left there wishing I had not taken our pediatrician's referral to go there. I made an appointment with Dr. White at the Palmetto Skin and Laser Center to seek help for my adult acne. I was very disappointed in Dr. White's bedside manner, and literally left in tears. I felt belittled, chastised, and humiliated. The topicals given to me made my face burn so severely that I had to wash them off within 30 minutes. I'm sure he is a very accomplished and knowledgeable physician, but it was not a good fit for me. more

I normally don't bash MD ofices, but I had to on this one. The office was "ok" for my needs, but overcharged big time for what they did. I went to a podiatrist right after that for the same problem and she did the same treatment for 1/4 of the cost. But my main problem with the office is the billing. They will not work well with you if you cannot pay your entire bill at once. I was making payments and they sent me a certified letter saying I was no longer welcome at their practice since my bill was not paid in full!!! I have never been treated so badly or rudely. It shows all that they care about is their pocketbooks! more

I will never ever return to PSL. Dr. White has the worst bedside manner of any physician I've ever met with. The front staff were polite and I was seen within 30 minutes only to be met with Dr. White who didn't even look at me and CERTAINLY didn't listen to a word I said before barking questions and becoming way too physical too fast. I found him to be extremely aggressive and rude. I left in tears with no relief. He has zero compassion and is quite frankly a prick. more

I waited 10 minutes on hold to make an appointment. Finally hung up. Called again later in the day and still was on hold for over 5 minutes. I descided if they were that busy they really did not need my business. Besides I needed a dermatologist not a face lift. more

Kristin Berka has been a wonderful addition to this practice. She sees my husband and myself regularly to keep check on skin cancers. She has a very pleasant, gentle manner, and makes you comfortable when you are being treated. I would highly recommend both her and this practice. more

Our son had acne very bad. We met with Dr. White and he discussed our options. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and listed to what our concerns where. He explained what the medicine would do. The office was clean and accessible.The staff was friendly. more
