Poor Billing Dept, 5/7/2012

The bill for services was sent to the wrong address so I never got the bill. (I received all other surgery related charges/bills and paid them). I received a nasty phone call threatening to ruin my credit and I didn't even know I had a past due bill! Instead of Palmetto calling me they turned my bill over for collection. I've been trying to call Palmetto to verify this bill amount and all I get is a BUSY Signal! I will never use them again and I would not recommend them just because of this! more

Billing Nightmare! 8/17/2009

I was turned over to the collection agency for $20!!! which had not even been billed to me after my insurance had paid. Once the collection agency called me, I paid, it has damaged my credit rating and has caused much unnecessary trouble. more

Billing Must be a Mess 9/21/2008

My bill was turned over to a collection agency before my insurance was finished paying! The doctors were very professional and I had great support during surgery. Sure hope they get the business end straight before it begins to distract them from their jobs. more

Billing phone ALWAYS busy 8/19/2008

They performed service for me few days before my departure overseas, so I notified them to reach me via e-mail or call the overseas number once the bill is ready (since the regular mail will accumulate for the next few months and I won't be able to open the bill until after that). Neither happened. I tried to reach their billing service (864) 627-3649 multiple times and had the busy signal ALL THE TIME. more
