Fake Home Baking 3/23/2011

They say it is all made by scratch, well the icing comes out of Sisco tubs and so does the cake batter. Most of the tea cookies are from cut and bakes any one could buy. On a whole the entire place is a rip off, and the employees are very rude! more

Lots of new customers 5/29/2009

We ordered an assortment of cakes for a school event-2-10" rounds and 4-9'' rounds. The parents thought all of the flavors were amazing. They all inquired as to where I had ordered them. I have a feeling that Pallotta's will have many new customers. Not only did they taste great, but they were beautifully decorated. Thanks, we'll be back. more

Sugar Cookies 10/11/2008

I had the exact same experience as Tish T. when it comes to sugar cookies! I mean exactly to the T. I called two days ahead of time for sugar cookies and the woman was rude and acted like I was asking for her to make me an elaborate wedding cake in an hour. My friend loves these cookies so I was doing it for her. Needless to say, I, as well, had to buy from the case. A friend went in later that day and was able to buy little duck sugar cookies right from case. Poor phone customer service..good cookies more

Sugar Cookies 12/16/2007

I have a friend who loves Pallota's sugar cookies. I called them in the morning, a day and a half before I needed the cookies. I asked for cut outs in any type of baby theme. The person who answered the phone asked when I needed them. When I told her the following evening she got very huffy with me like I was supposed to know that they needed more than a day and a half notice to bake 24 sugar cookies. She made me feel stupid. I wasn't asking for 12 dozen so I didn't think it would be a problem if I called in a day and a half early. Needless to say I didn't order them. She told me I would have to take what they had in the case. I did, however, go in and purchase what they had in the case only because my friend loves them so much. Another friend had the same idea as me and went in later that day and the nice person who waited on her told her that they had some duck cut outs in the back. We both showed up at the hospital with the cookies and shared our stories about our experience at Pallotas. Great cookies...rude customer service on service on phone orders...but decent customer service in the store. more

Whether you are craving specialty breads or bagels, or you need something sweet like doughnuts or pastries, or you need a perfect cake for that special day, Pallotta's Bakery is a good place to go. Everything I have tried there tastes good, and everything is freshly baked right there on the premises. The bakers and other workers there are so friendly and more than happy to let you have a taste of something. Give this place a try the next time you are in the mood for some baked goods. more

GREAT BAKERY 9/3/2005

We celebrated a birthday recently and ordered an italian cake from this bakery. The cake was very moist and everyone enjoyed it a lot. We have had Italian cakes from many places - but this one was really good. Try it and you will enjoy it. more
