I work full-time and need the ""appointment work-out"" to get out of the office - I've been working out with private trainers off and on over the past 10 years - but doing the bootcamp is so much more fun and I'm getting better results! Angela and her team push us all to work hard yet make sure that everyone works out at his/her own level. I love how they mix up the venues (beach, stairs, studio) and mix up the routines. Definitely recommend! Pros: outdoor work-outs! awesome instructors! more

Boot Camp trainers make working out fun! I love the variety of workouts and the different personalities of the trainers. Plus, the results are great! Give it a try--you won't regret it! Pros: variety, trainers, other boot campers are all great more

Boot Camp can be fun!! 2/12/2010

My friend asked me to join her for boot camp and I did not know what I was getting myself into. I am so glad that I joined!!! It has been a great experience!!! The trainers make working out fun, they change it up so that the workouts are always different and I have really noticed results. The trainers are very supportive and push you, but in a good way. I was surprised by some of the things I was able to do! Also, the women in the classes are nice and supportive as well. It has been an all around great experience. The boot camp is the best thing that has happened to me. I love that I'm never in a gym. We workout outside and everything is always changing so it's fun and different. I could never push myself as hard as I do at boot camp. They are also are very attentive and will adjust workouts for you if you have any injury's or specific goals you want to work on. Never one to be able to get myself to a gym, Body Inspired Fitness?s outdoor fitness program really works for me! At one with the outdoors while getting fit; doesn?t get much better than that! I was in a real funk with my fitness program until getting inspired to workout to my personal maximum with Body Inspired Fitness. Angela?s inspiring words and sense of fun makes staying on track a reality. A supportive group of women experiencing a varied workout in the great outdoors in the Palisades and Santa Monica has been the ticket to helping me meet both my physical and nutritional fitness goals. Hearing the word fitness boot camp was scary for me at first, but Angela?s Body Inspired Fitness boot camp instructors are so caring, personable and knowledgeable?not robotic sergeants of some outdoor fitness programs. Angela Perrys' Body Inspired Fitness is just that...Inspiring. Angela manages to simultaneously make you work as hard as you can, all the while, making you laugh(not an easy feat) I look forward to Saturday mornings on the beach! The group of women (which is ever changing) are incredibly supportive and at all fitness levels, so no need to feel uncomfortable if you are a novice. There are classes at almost any time you can imagine and in many locations, making it ideal for women with busy lives.. Best Santa Monica Bootcamp 5/7/2009

I hate gyms and have always worked out outside but got sick of my normal routine. I wanted something new and different to kick my butt into gear, but I also wanted to have fun! Then I found Body Inspired Fitness and I couldn't be happier!! The instructors are amazing and funny, and the group of women in the classes are so fun!! I've met so many new friends! It's great b/c it really is group PERSONAL training. The instructor's know your name and give you personal attention, so you're not just another number in a class. Each class is different and you're never bored. It honestly doesn't even feel like you're working out sometimes b/c it seems like you're just having fun with your friends. But don't get me wrong...it will kick your booty!! I'm seeing so many results and feel amazing. Angela's humor is contagious and Holly is a gem:) I love Body Inspired Fitness and recommend it for all ages, sizes and fitness levels! You won't regret it! Pros: Makes working out fun! more

Santa Monica bootcamp classes are great. I am not really into working out but the instructors really make it a great experiance. I look forward to the classes. Classes are very motivational. You should really check out one of the many classes at Palisades & Santa Monica Boot camp. Pros: great teachers, great locations, lots of class times more

Fun and ""not scary"" Boot Camp 5/5/2009

I was out of the habit of exercising and I felt I needed more structure than solely relying on myself to get to (and stay at) the gym for a good work-out. Luckily, during a web search I came across the Body Inspired Fitness-Santa Monica Boot Camp. I was initially a bit apprehensive and self conscious, but after reading some positive reviews about the non-whistle blowing aspect of this camp, I decided to give it a shot. I was also worried that I wouldn?t be ?fit? enough to get through the classes, but I went at my own pace and by the end of the 4 weeks I was infinitely stronger and had tons more endurance. I?m not over-weight, but I did want to tone up and have more endurance. By the end of the 4 weeks I had lost inches, body fat AND 3 pounds. I have completed 2 more boot camps since then and each one is fun, different and challenging. The classes are varied, so you don?t get bored. The trainers are really warm and encouraging while still managing to kick your butt. The other woman who take the classes are very cool and down to earth too. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone who needs a little more structure with their work-out. It?s nice to just show up and not even have to ?think?, the trainers do that for you. Palisades & Santa Monica Boot Camp 5/4/2009

Working out with the boot camp is ideal... wide variety of workouts, instructors, and times make for a perfect program. The instructors do a great job individualizing the workout for each person, and the other participants are great. All ages... all walks of life... and ALWAYS a good time! The price is high yet WELL worth it, but it will cost much more than an average gym membership. (You get much more for you money and there's nothing like working outdoors.) I truly miss it when I don't go! The fitness for women is a quick and motivating way to shed pounds, and by having a different workout everyday, the weight falls off much faster than attending the same exact class day in and day out (i.e. spin, yoga, kickbox). This truly is the best way to go! Pros: Amazing workout, outgoing and personable instrutors Cons: Price more

Fabulous Workout 2/3/2008

I adore this work out! The teachers kick butt with a smile on their faces and they always make you want to push yourself harder. Right now I am sidelined with an injury but I can't wait to get back to class! I know I am in good hands with Angela and her peeps. If you're a beginner or a pro, this class is tailored to your needs. I can't recommend it highly enough. Pros: all of it. The locations change so you never get bored. Cons: No cons at all. more

I love boot camp!!!! 1/30/2008

I signed up for the holiday session last month, thinking this would be an interesting one-time change from running and going to the gym by myself. Now I'm hooked! The workouts are great - always different and challenging, and the trainers and the other women in the camp are wonderful encouragement and support. I attend the 6 PM class, and I've always found it to be a great transition from the rest of my day, especially if it's been a particularly long or difficult one. I always leave feeling pleasantly tired and incredibly happy. I would highly recommend this boot camp to anyone interested in getting active and having fun; you won't regret it!! more

Come prepared to break a sweat! 1/27/2008

After years of being sedentary, I boldly signed up to Palisades Boot Camp and was very afraid. To my surprise, albeit a challenging workout, I was not only more capable than I thought, but the trainers are great with knowing your limits and pushing you accordingly. After just two weeks, I surprised myself and look forward to each workout. Motivating, encouraging and most of all FUN! more
