I hired Shirley to do a last-minute dry-wall and plaster/paint job during my kitchen remodel. She was prompt and friendly and very helpful in enabling my project to continue. Since then, however, it's taken over a year to resolve some outstanding issues. \r

The first problem is that I was overcharged on my last payment and still don't know why. The second is that I'm still waiting for touch-up work to be done that is usually part of the regular service. Also, the worker who performed the job trashed a brand-new box fan which has yet to be replaced as promised. \r

These issues are part and parcel of a major renovation, but even after several months of periodic phone calls none of them were resolved. I sent Shirley a letter on Sept. 15, 2007 regarding theses issues, and her office assistant assured me Shirley would contact me soon. I'm still waiting.\r

In addition, the worker left behind a huge mound of trash which I (eight months pregnant at the time) had to clean up myself. He also left two whole sheets of drywall out in the rain - did I pay for those? I don't think I'll ever know.
