Pafumi Services in Woodbury, NJ charged us a $95.23 "Trip Charge" when we did not make an appointment with them, not even setting foot in our home. We spoke to an Ethyl or Edith Campbell?(she mumbled her name) and explained to her that there must have been a misunderstanding. She threated to ruin our credit score and wouldn't let us speak with the owner. She had the audacity to ask us to speak to the 'landlord' but we indeed own our home. We told her that we were not trying to start an argument but we were not informed about this charge because we didn't schedule an appointment. She continued with her remarks and told us that she's just saying what the owner wanted her to tell us when we called back. She was extremely unprofessional and had no sympathy at all. I've dealt with John, the owner of Pafumi Services for a number of years, and I've never had an issue with him. I recently bought a house, and the bathroom had to be gutted. I called Pafumi, and they came out and gave me an estimate. They did the work quickly, and was very professional. I would recommend him to anyone, and he is the only one I use for all my plumbing needs. more

We had a horrible experience with Pafumi. Our sewer pipe wasn't draining so we called Pafumi to come clear our lines. We have to do this every year as the lines are old and can get blocked with tree roots. This time the lead worker told me the sewer line had collapsed and he'd have to replace the entire line and tie into the street main. The kicker was that he couldn't tell me where the sewer break was. My husband was out town, which I think gave him the idea that I was a woman and didn't know any better. After two days of going back and forth with the township and Pafumi, it was proven that there was no break in the line. Thank god for second opinions. This company was so sure I was going to have to replace my sewer line at an approximate price of $25,000 and wouldn't prove it to me or try any other option. I turned out that the sewer line wasn't broken at all. They just need use root killer down the drain and put in another access to the sewer line on the corner of our propert more
