I love Padriacs. The Padriac's burger is the best burger in Atlanta. The Calamari always delivers. The staff is great. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. It is not a kids hangout, there are folks of all ages in there. It does get loud sometimes, but they are just a victim of their own success. It gets loud because people like being in there. more

The food is uneven, but when it is good it is really good. Great patio dining. Nice place to go after work to unwind with friends. The menu is limited but they change it fairly often. more

Smoke and Food Together? 2/12/2008

We went here for dinner and there was WAY to much smoke to have an enjoyable meal. So much so that I don't think it would even be fair to comment on the food. This is really meant to be a bar/hangout I guess. more

Fun hang out 2/2/2008

This can be a cool place for those living in the Vinings area and are single. I've had friends meet boyfriends here. It can get very crowded and loud. Fun atmosphere. more

This is a popular restaurant and bar in Vinings. We have enjoyed some excellent meals. Later in the evening , it can become very noisy and crowded . If that is an issue , you might want to dine a little earlier . more

Great live music Friday and Saturdays! 1/4/2008

I've been here a few times and enjoyed every visit and meal. I like the that the service and food is not as contrived as the chains in the area. The burgers are good and so is their Cuban sandwich. But what makes it for me is their live music line up Friday and Saturday nights. Pros: Live music, low-key, orginal Cons: smoking after 10pm more

Great 6/2/2007

I have to totally disagree with the last review. Since the new smoking law, you cannot smoke in Padriacs until 10 or 10:30pm. I don't understand if you were there for dinner, how it would be smokey. It does not smell at all. I have been a regular here for almost 5 years. The drink selection, food, and staff are great. They do have a pretty good happy hour crowd, which I enjoy. Great neighborhood bar feel. more

Lobster Nachos? Not! Rah-Rah Crowd! 1/25/2007

We dropped in the other day around lunchtime. Had a burger, and it was fine. Thought we would come in for dinner, and what a big difference. This is a good place, if you are still the immature kind, that has to have a beer at the end of the day, like you are still in college. Too much smoke. We ordered what was suppose to be Lobster Nachos, we could be wrong, but it tasted like the imitation kind you buy at the grocery store. I guess if you guzzle down enough beers, you probably won't know the difference. We do! Pros: Vinings Area! Cons: Smokey! Loud Beer Drinking Crowd! Nachos! more

Cool Bar 11/20/2006

This is a nice bar in the Vinings area. I've eaten there before and also just stopped by for drinks; each time has been fun. The food is definitely good for bar food and the drinks are well poured. I would recommend this bar if you're in the area, especially before driving downtown. Pros: Good Location, Good Food, Great Atmosphere Cons: None more

Wonderful Food 8/15/2006

I've been a regular at this place and never tried the food. We tried the food a couple of weeks ago and it was delious! Oh my god I had no idea that a small bar like restaurant was going to have such a great cook! The entrees were beautiful and the taste was above and beyond expectations! The service was a delight as usual and also sometimes they have live music too. more

Fun place with great food 6/10/2004

Although other reviews say it is too crowded and too smokey I would disagree. The owners recently added new smokeeters throughout the restaurant and it has improvrd significantly. The menu has a wide variety of items ranging in price and the higher priced items are a cut above the restaurants in the area. A good meal and some good people is worth it to me. more

Not as bad as they say 3/28/2003

It may be a resturant for lunch, but in the evening it's a bar. Much like the Dunwoody Tavern or the Royal Oak. Its a fun play that is packed with people almost every night. Its hard to find parking there but not impossible. A great place with friendly people, a good local hangout. more

Always enjoyable 7/1/2002

I live in the area and it's always a great place to grab a beer on a weekday night. The staff is friendly and the food is awesome. It's also a great place to meet new people. The people there don't seem to have the edge around them like in Buckhead or the Highlands. more
