Top experience 5/13/2010

just like me you will enjoy this place everytime you visit. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is top gourmet, the service is outstanding, the margaritas are the best in San Diego. There is no place like Pacifica. Go during happy hour and you pay an amazing low price for this fine appetizers and drinks. Just the very best place! Pros: soooo popular Cons: none more

Beautiful Ambience. Good wait staff. Delicious Food! 8/30/2008

While I was visiting San Diego, I had the pleasure of stopping in this restaurant for dinner. The location is absolutely gorgeous, the view - breathtaking! I had the salt and pepper prawns, and I thought since I was ordering shrimp, I would still be hungry afterwards, so I was prepared to order dessert. However, that had to be the most delicious, satisfying prawn dish I have ever eaten. This restaurant has a relaxing ambience and is still exciting at the same time. I truly felt like I was on vacation in California! I absolutely enjoyed this dining experience! more

Excellent food great view 8/12/2008

We had an excellent meal. We put the ser ver on the spot and asked for recommendations. Appetizer: perfect seasonal selection. Of course he recommended their signature dish for the main course (sweet and spicey salmon. Excellent. Desert: another stupendous choice. Early on we determined that our server would be up to the challenge of matching our wines as well. Great meal--one of the best of the year. more

Definitely will go back 7/28/2008

Oysters were AMAZING and tasty (not too fishy - my husband doesn't like fish and he loved them). Will definitely visit again. Nice date spot. Want to go back to try the $20 variety dinner before 6pm. Pros: Ambience Cons: Parking - might have to walk far, though we got lucky and found a spot quickly - it's the busy area of Del Mar downtown shops, etc more
