This is a horrible shady place. Do not come here. Bottom feeder scum feeding on the fears and vulnerabilities of people who want to lose weight and feel better about themselves. I will tell you why! But first my background.\r \r I am starting my medical training at keck USC in the fall 2015. My grandfather was an MD, as well as 2 of my other family members and the balance are in the medical field. I also have quite a few friends at Cedars Sinai, Kaiser, and UCLA who are MDs and DOs. So I would say I am very aware of what is legitimate medicine and what is quackery.\r \r I am writing this as a patient. I bought a groupon for Ultrasonic Cavitation because even though I diet and workout, I was looking for targeted fat loss. I did my own scientific research and the evidence showed Ultrasonic Lipo is effective for targeted fat loss.\r \r Anyhow, I go to this place and this guy who calls himself Dr. Joe is looking at my medical history and talking about weight loss and blah blah blah... This guy is Joe Raphael, HE IS NOT AN MD OR DO or even a Pa-C or NP. He is not trained to give medical advice or prescriptions and I am pretty sure he should not be looking at my personal medical history. You want to know why ""dr joe"" calls himself a dr? He has a doctorate degree in public health and a licensed marriage family therapist. This is not a medical doctor. Do not be fooled. A Dph or PhD is the level of education, one can have a doctorate degree in philosophy but that does not make you a medical doctor! What a joke.\r \r There's an Md there, an old black woman who I think is named dr Glencoe or Glenloe, but she's a retired plastic surgeon for eyes nose and throat. And Dr Farkas who I have never met is supposedly the Md and I looked him up also and he's an eye doctor. This location is operated by people who are not fit to give ANYONE advice about exercise or losing weight. I asked my uncle, the MD, and he said doctors like that are just trying to make extra money using their licenses. He was disgusted.\r \r They told me I needed lipo tropics, needing a diet plan, needing allergy testing, Botox, and everything else to up sell because I have very good PPO insurance. I never told them I am going to medical school, so they assumed I was ignorant. They used every single BS line to try to push me into buying more services that I do not need or want. Joe Raphael and the old black woman md were really aggressive and horrible when I stated I just wanted the services for the groupon I bought.\r \r I am going to use up my groupon and never come back to this place. I suggest you don't come here.\r \r It's really pathetic to prey on the general public. These are the types of people who give real physicians who actually care for the well being of their patients a BAD name. They disgust me. more

My experience at Weekend Weight Loss was great! I have been back twice now and both times I was seen right on time, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. During both procedures the nurse's made me feel very comfortable. I was given great information regarding diet, exercise and about the procedure I was having done. The prices and specials they offer are amazing! more

alon with other places i chose this place to give me a extra edge on getting healthy. using the easy steps that are lane out for your specific age, weight, and body type it should be easy for you to shep weight like its nothing. in a month and a half i shed over 20 pounds and i am still losing. but it did take time fr me to be able to lose weight because i was fresh off of a back injury but trust me when i say that it wors and you should get with the program or your life will not feel complete more

TOTALLY ROCKS! I started there because of a deal i got online, but i have purchased continuing sessions since then. It really does work i have lost inches on my thighs and am looking forward to future results in other areas. The staff is so nice and is there with you every step of the way to help you reach your goals. Weight loss is a time consuming process and doesn't happen in the blink of an eye. I signed up for 6 ultrasonic lipo sessions and go once a week. I just finished my 6th session. So far, I've lost almost 3 inches on my stomach and 3 inches from my arms. My experience here is continually better. The doctors are attentive and involved. I spent an entire hour with a doctor while she just gave me advice and informed me on my current health status, she genuinely discussed my health with me and never seemed rushed, gave me a great recommendation for a gynecologist,suggested a detox to jump start my weight loss which worked . They give realistic workout plans, and the entire staff is friendly and committed. I feel like they have really engaged and sincerely care about my progression. I love the lipotropic injections and have tried the lipo laser and it is absolutely life changing. This isn't just a weight loss facility, this is a lifestyle changing facility. Battling with weight issues my entire life and working with every diet under the sun and moon, I gave up and just accepted the fact that I will be a "Big Girl" at almost 300 pounds. The key thing I was missing was in all the workout DVDs I own, in big bold letters! "Contact your Physician before doing this workout." Finally an integrative approach medical center. I have been to numerous doctors offices trying to find a good fit. Most of the time the staff could care less and the doctors are arrogant and trying to run out the door in less then 5 minutes. Pacific Rejuvenation is totally different. I was so impressed by the way this place is run. The staff is friendly and the doctors actually know what they are talking about. The doctor spent almost 40 minutes with me. Amazing. The Officer Manager Eddie is also really easy to deal with. He is so knowledgeable and willing to help. The RN Gaby is just as considerate of her patients. I went in on a Saturday and they were very busy but I didn't have to wait long anyway. I went in for weight loss purposes and Dr. Farkas was very informative in regards to my present and future nutritional habits. I had the opportunity today in having a consultation with Dr. Farkas today. I read several reviews, back and forth including the ones in yelp. I see many of the reviews in yelp are filtered, but are very positive. As a business owner myself, I am not happy with yelp myself. Regardless, Dr. Farkas has been one of the few physicians, that I have been happy with, other the my dentist, which is in his office Dr. Rivera. He explained to me all of my concerns and did not make me feel rushed. I realized his staff was behind, but Dr. Farkas was nice to tell me, that we could continue our conversation another time. He gave me his personal email and allowed me to email me any questions I had still or had forget to tell him during our consultation. What impressed me the most was that he gave me choices. I like that he made me do research on the therapy he advised me to have. He told me to discuss this first with my family practice Dr.Schenkal. Then I could start. The office manager Stephanie was helpful and explained to me what my insurance would cover. He also referred me to another doctor that he wanted me to see first. The office did not try to sell me anything. Every one was very warm and caring. My only complaint was that they need better magazines. I do encourage patients to give comments or reviews as they freely wish to do so. I would appreciate that you give honest reviews and not false reviews. Clearly the person that wrote this review before this, never came to my office as they would of realized that Dr. Randall Caldron former owner of Nova Medical Center is no longer in practice since August of 2011. I have purchased the domain name and taken over his practice in West Hills only. All the new practices in Palmdale and Los Angeles are all new and run and operated by either myself or Dr. Speller. I do have several associates that work with me also, Dr. Nasim and Dr. Maxey. I have trained family practice and Internal Medicine Physician Assistant's and Nurse Practitioner's. I was surgeon for years, but I am trained physician that has extensive training during my residency at USC Medical School in family practice in Internal Medicine. I am more than qualified to manage your care. I believe in preventative medicine and don't practice just weight management. My views and methods of treatment are completely different from Dr. Caldron. I have open the doors to my practice and will continue to bring many new providers and employee's that see my goals. I am simply not a diet doctor or just give medication. I will never sugar coat any method but simply try to give you the best option in feeling better. This office is a scam. The receptionist or "office manager" is not a doctor, nurse, or has any health credentials but he wrote me a prescription and wrote the order for my blood tests....wtf? This guy basically runs the office and tries to sell you whatever weight loss crap he can, and he hypocritically is fat himself. His eyes lit up when he heard I had PPO and tried to sell me everything imaginable and tried to give me a consultation...excuse me, you have a high school diploma, why on earth are you acting like my doctor? When I asked to a see a real doctor, I was introduced to a "Glen Farkas" who according to an online directory search is really registered as an....ophthalmologist? Why is this guy working at a weight loss office? Dr. Caldron, it seems like, has opened several offices, floats amongst them, and leaves unqualified individuals in charge. In January I was told I had a immune disorder that was causing my platlet levels to go low and me suffering major bone pain. I had seen over ten specialist that could tell me what I had, other than they called it ITP. What ever that is? Regardless, I was put on meidcation that made me sick and crazy. I gained over 60 pounds. I was desperate, until I met Dr. Farkas, He also suffered through stage 4 cancer. Dr. Farkas recommended glutathione therapy. At first I was skeptical, but I thought, what the hell, I had tried everything else, I had nothing else to lose. After 1st treatment, I felt that it was going to work. I felt my pain decrease. I did a two month treatment and after visting my dr., he was speechless and could not explain, why? I was back to normal. All I know Dr. Farkas knew his stuff. Well it seems that they have gone through new management change and owners. I think it was for the best by speaking to other past patients. I was pleased with Dr. Farkas and especially with his Physician Assistant Elise Taylor. The combination of both of them are better than reading a book. They educate you on your illness and explain the process with you. I started on HRT today, lets see how it goes. more

I discovered and office that helped me feel better, lose weight, sleep better, more energy and solve my fatigue issues. Now I am getting therapy for Marcy that is helping with my stress. Acupuncture she does is needless, as I fear needles. more

I was very pleased with the services I had experienced today. Elyse Taylor the physician assistant was very knowledgable about my illness and took the time to explain in detail the process of me getting better. The staff was great. I have not met Dr. Caldron yet, but I was scheduled to follow up with him. I called in for an appointment on Friday and they were able to see me the next day. I was happy to find out that Dr. Caldron was open on the weekends. I just selected for my primary care. I was also happy to see that Dr. Caldron also not just an internist but also specialized in weight loss. Hopefully I can lose some weight to. The young man in the front was very helpful in helping me obtain my authorizations for the specialist I needed to follow up with. I never in my life had this kind of service. more
