After all these years still........Horrible!!! 6/17/2010

Back in 2002 I was working with a salesman to purchase a Four Winns for almost 6 months to get ""just the right one"". We finally worked out a deal and I went to purchase it with my check book in hand and the price changed dramatically higher. I ended up purchasing a Four Winns (which I still have and love) somewhere else. 2008 I went there to get a drain plug for my cooler. They said they would order it and call me. I never heard from them. I have always had it serviced at Riverside Marine (who has been great!). Fast forward to 2010. I was going to change the oil in it myself this year for the first time. I reluctantly went to Pacific Boatland for the factory parts. After getting the oil out I realized they had sold me the wrong size oil filter and the incorrect oil grade as directed in the owners manual. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! When did the internet become a place to bash honest companies trying to make a living? I cant believe the last two reviews of this company. I have dealt with them for 11 years and have never had a problem that was not address quickly and fairly. They have always gone the extra mile for me. For example, just recently I had a trip planned to go to the Tri-Cities for a family camping trip with 19 relatives and I have the only boat. I went to pick up my boat from lake merwin and prepare for the 4 hour drive. The boat would not start. In a panic, I immediately called pacific boatland (Sat morning). They ask me some questions and we tried a few things over the phone. Nothing worked. I took the boat to them and they called a technician in just to work on my boat. He assessed the problem, installed a new fuel pump and they had me on my way in less than two hours. The boat ran perfectly. This is a company that cares about their customers, and two sour grapes reviews should not deter anyone from doing business with them. The many happy customers dont take the time to do reviews, but the unhappy few will tell everyone their story. Pros: Very helpful and caring staff more

Terrible experience...would not do business with them 7/27/2008

As in the last review I found them very slow and hard to communicate with. After buying a boat from them they did not stand behind what they told me. They are unethical, period. I highly recommend not doing business with them, but if you must I would have a lawyer review all documents. Cons: Communication, Trustworthy more

We may have had them do the repair despite the price had there been better communication and had the estimate been turned out sooner. Maybe it was because it was last Summer and they were too busy, but it would've been nice if someone would've said that two months earlier so that we could've taken the boat elsewhere. I can only imagine what a nightmare it would've been had we left them the boat. We would probably still be waiting. Pros: Close to home Cons: Lack of communication more
