The St Pete pier is a really interesting place for tourists or locals alike. They offer a great variety of shops and dining not to mention the aquarium inside the pier also. Another great way to spend time at the pier is simply lounging around outside reading a book or fishing. The views are spectacular and the Pier is really safe and clean. more

Nice Place To Visit 8/20/2005

The Pier in St. Petersburg is a fun place to just go and walk around or shop and get lunch. With restaurants, shops, you can fish, it's fun for the whole family. You can go boating and there is all kinda of attractions it that area like the aquarium. A vacation must go when in the St. Petersburg area. more

Great for the price! 8/4/2005

The pier is a great to take a friend or relative who comes and visits. It is a beautiful view. They have several shops to browse through. Several restaurants. A free art museum. They have a very small aquarium. They charge a donation fee or something. Its next to a very small beach. Its great for just walking around and enjoying the sites. You can go sit up on the very top and look at the water and all of St. Pete's. You can walk, ride bikes , take a breath of fresh air. Its a nice amenity to downtown St. Pete. more

A must stop for tourists 7/20/2005

The Pier is located in downtown St. Pete off 2nd Ave N. This is a great place to spend the day with the family in the summer months. With weather permitting the Pier has tons to see and do, and is great for children. The Pier is home to an aquarium, several restaurants, a food court, and specialty shops. There is always live music on the weekends and has such activities like feeding pelicans, and segway tours. There is also a trolley ride for 25 cents that will take you on a tour of downtown St. Pete. Lots to see and do! more

Nice venue for the budget conscious family 7/10/2005

Going to the pier is free....checking out the sunset their is priceless. Its a nice place to go to, do some fishing, bring some kids to see the ocean and view. They also have a couple of nice restaurants and gift shops at the pier. Its a definite must see for those that are planning to be in downtown St. Pete. I'd recommend taking a bike ride up and down the pier. more
