I bought a HDMI cable there for $4. Great place, amazing prices, good customer service. Apple maps shows them at this location, but they moved to 1800 Northeast 25th Avenue #11, Hillsboro, OR 97124 a couple of years ago. more

I would give -ve star if it is allowed by the website. I live in Hillsboro, OR. So I visited the store. On paper PCH Cable has 30 days return policy. Don't think the return policy is ""hassle l free"". The guy (I think he is the owner; tall, very short gray hair, and always wearing ""Rum"" t-shirt) made me feel like piece of dirt and said whole sorts of things like ""you should have checked it before, next time ask questions before you buy stuff from us"". Even though the package had no instruction or picture whatsoever (it just had a barcode), he added ""it is clearly marked on the package"" - WHAT INSTRUCTION ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ???? Did you just have a Rum that you have been donning ? Here is melodramatic sequence of event when I went for return. (1) He tuns over the receipt back and forth, and reading his own return policy as if he is reading it first time. (2) Asks rude questions, including why are you returning it ? What happened ? (3) Then to make me feel piece of dirt, he throws the item, in front of me, in the garbage can. (4) Lectures me (aforementioned) while running credit card machine (5) Shakes his head side to side as if I am some sort of idiot. (6) Some more lecture. Not worth it!! Avoid him. I agree with some of the previous reviews that this guy has some personality issues. He is jerk!!! more

Just had an unpleasant run-in with a person at PCH cables, who I now gather is (astoundingly) the owner. He is almost comically rude and obnoxious. I won't ever be going back. more

If you are looking for the best prices on cables this is the where you want to go. Place your order online and either have it shipped or do pick it up. If you are looking for great customer service where you can ask alot of questions then choose Best Buy and pay ten times the amount for the same cables just that simple. 11/10/2009 - I bought an NAC-2 (cpscom com/gprod/nac2.htm) through CPS. It is a ""simple"" switch that takes a 120 AC input and provides power to a couple of 120 AC outputs when it receives a Ping comand through an Ethernet cable. The two 120 AC outles are IEC 320 and you need a cable to convert them to Standard North American cables that CPS provides as you can see here (cpscom/gprod/powercords.htm). I was talking to one of the employees when the owner showed up and I said what I was looking for and he said ""We don't have that cable"", luckly the employee found it on the website, and the owner again said ""What are you planning to do with it?"", I said I'm planning to covert the IEC320 to standard North America female plug, so I connect a PC or even a power strip to the outlet and I can connect multiple things. If you read the CPS description in the website, that is exactly what the cable is for. The ower responds ""You fill BURN your equipment"", that is outlet and you can't put power in. At this point, the owners tone was clearly disrespectul and bully. I said ""I'm sorry I have not explained myself well"", I don't want to put power into the outlet, I just want take the power that comes out and split it, so I can have multiple things connected to it. The owners says again, ""WELL, IT IS YOUR EQUIPMENT, YOU WILL BURN IT, AND IM TAKING THIS EMPLOYEE AWAY (i.e. like you are wasting our time) and somebody else will attend you. They are only 3 people there, so the remaining employee came and sold me the cable. I have the say the selection is great, the prices are great, the two poor employees that have to deal with this guy are saints, and the owner, what can't I say? I guess you get the picture.
