Would not have been served this meal if I ate at restaurant 4/15/2010

Used to love P F Changs - but this meail really changed my mind. Meal was worth 5 bucks even though I paid $18. After I arrived home to eat my meal I discoved a very disappointing looking meal. They must suppect that you wont return which I did not due to it being later in the evening. Very disappointing. Shame on your Pasadena P F Changs. Cons: Burnt Prawns with dried out noodles more

What a disappointment! 4/15/2010

260 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena. Ordered food online. I arrived at restaurant 5 minutes before my scheduled pickup time. Food was provided to me within two minutes of arriving at restaurant. I walked across the street (3 minute) walk to eat my meal. Absolutely horrible. Food was warm, prawns were black and shells could not be removed prawn, extremely dry. Noodles were so dry they were discolored and stuck together in one big blob. Worst meal I have had in years. Not worth the $18. Would have been happier with a fish sandwich from McDonalds. Pros: Quick take out service Cons: Horrible meal, Prawns were black and noodles were dry more

We Enjoy PF Chang’s! 3/8/2010

Not authentic Chinese food, but once you understand that, it’s actually pretty good. We like to go after church and sit on the balcony. Nice view, relaxing. We enjoy their appetizers – especially the lettuce wraps, the dumplings, and their crab wontons. Also, I like that they offer brown rice. Again, not authentic, but then neither is most of the “Chinese” food in Southern California. Three and one half stars, but I’ll round up to four. more

Crowded but good green beans 9/6/2007

Usually pretty crowded. You can eat at the bar which can save you from waiting for a table. Their spicy green beans are good as well as their Tofu Lettuce Wraps. Get a bottle of their J Pinot Gris...it's awesome. Cons: Crowded, parking, poor service more

Great tasting food... 3/2/2007

One thing I like about PF Chang's is that they have unique dishes and most of these DISHES are very flavorsome. The only down side to it, is that the SERVINGS are small. The PRICE per plate is standard. It?s not as inexpensive as Panda Express, however I?d say its worth the cost, the food is savory, fresh and it came in delightful presentations. The AMBIANCE brings forth a romantic feeling. Large parties can be accommodated with no problem, except that waiting period may take longer. I would suggest reservations for bigger parties. The SERVICE was average, although the servers were very courteous and friendly they lacked attentiveness. Overall I?d say I?d go back again?and I will recommend this restaurant to family and friends. Pros: Ambience and great tasting food Cons: Kitchen's a bit slow... more

Good Service 1/9/2007

I was surprised that they seated me and my party of seven in less than seven minutes...on a Sat nite!!!\r The waiter was really helpful and nice, since it was all of our first time going there...the dishes were kinda small though, for the price, but very good, taste-wise....i love the decoration in the inside, very comfy...dark and cool Pros: tasty and decoration Cons: small servings (it was seven of us) more

Nice location and atmosphere the bad thing about P.F. Changs they don't take reservations so if you go on a crowded night you will have to wait a bit. Overall our food was served promptly which is always nice. more

Wouldn't know about the food . . . 8/15/2006

Our waitress forgot us (after sitting for 15 minutes, we didn't even get offered a glass of water). The manager needs to wake up . . .\r \r Suggest going to The Yard House. The food was pretty good and the service was excellent. more

Good Stuff 6/6/2006

This place is unbelievably delicious and for anybody who says it is expensive they mine as well go have Chinese Food in one of those fast food places. You have to order the garlic noodle, the salt and pepper prawns and the beef schwann (spelling???). Nothing is going to top these three things on the menu. And for dessert please have the banana egg rolls. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM more

Great Food, Slow Service 2/23/2006

Upon my first time going to P.F. Chang's, I was very pleased with the atmosphere, and the food was fabulous! I can't wait to go back! They have tons of vegetarian options, and make it easily identifiable which items are vegetarian with a key on the menu. I went with three friends, we all ordered something different, and everything was amazing and very different! The only problem was that we had to wait forever for everything: seating, appetizers, drinks, food. However, once the food did come, it made up for it! Pros: great variety, great food, great drink menu Cons: long wait, slow service more

I can't knock it... 12/27/2004

But I can't praise it either. I would go back if invited for a gathering, but it would not be at the top of my personal list of places to go back to. I did like the food, although the portions were a little small, at least the prices weren't outlandish. Service was good. I had made a reservation, but had to wait a good 20 minutes anyway for a table. They have a great dessert called Banana Spring Rolls, it is a must have. Everything else is just ordinary. Great ambiance! Pros: Banana Spring Rolls, Ambiance Cons: , Weak alcohol drinks more

Hang out-YES, Chinese food-NO! 8/14/2004

It's a different kind of place for chinese food. The menu was pretty extensive, it's good for meetings or parties of various types of work-related occasions. But if you're truly into Chinese food, this isn't it! It's like having a Mediterranean Gyro at ""Jack In The Box"" instead of an authentic Greek restaurant. Besides that, the place is o.k. to hang out with a couple of drinks. Pros: Great hang out! more

Excellent food but not worth the price 6/9/2003

We decided to choose several different dishes to get a good sampling (knowing we'd definitely have leftovers). We chose a good cross section from the menu, so I feel confident in saying the food was excellent. But, if you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, this is not the place for you. The service was excellent--the staff being helpful with our dish choices and keeping our beverages full. The major criticism I have is although the food was excellent, it was definitely not worth the price. I left feeling I could have used the money more wisely and gotten more enjoyment elsewhere. My minor criticism about this location is that the restaurant is extremely noisy. We arrived early for dinner at 4:30 pm to a fairly empty restaurant, but it was so loud we couldn't hold a quiet conversation. As the restaurant filled for dinner, it only got worse. Pros: excellent food, excellent waitstaff Cons: loud & noisy, expensive for quality more

Great gourmet food, long wait 12/1/2002

PF Chang's, at the Paseo shopping center, has great food at decent prices, but there is often a long wait for a table. PFC's differs from many chain Chinese restaurants because it uses fresh ingredients in unique, fresh preparations. Think of it as a more chain-like Chinese version of Saladang. Recommended. Pros: A+ Lettuce wraps, Fresh food Cons: Long wait, Relatively expensive more

Mediocre 10/21/2002

While the restaurant was beautifully decorated and the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was bland and non-authentic. It didn't taste Chinese, californian, Fusion or any mix of the above. It was just plain. The service was good though. Pros: Setting, Music`, decor more

Too Much hype! 7/1/2002

Yeah ok P.F. Changs isn't bad but come on...! It's too expensive for what you get. This is a great place to go with a date but if you subscribe to ""Leykis 101"" steer clear of this place because you'll pay way more than $40 bucks! Take her to Golden Lake instead. more
