Unfortunately these people have chosen an anonymous forum rather than seeking legal redress of any problems they feel they have. Our contract a very explicit about what is required of either a tenet or a owner .. If someone feels that they were unfairly treated they are welcome to file a claim and have their day in court. We have a A plus rating with the Better Business Bureau with no substantiated claims. If they would care to contact our office we would be happy to review their file and correct any problems . If not then that speaks for its self\r \r OWNERS CHOICE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT more

HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, AWFUL! They absolutely know and do not care that one of their renters are DRUG DEALERS, and have about 10-14 people living in the same two bedroom apartment (including young kids!) They came onto the property even though there was only minors home, not okay and came up with the excuse that ""they don't have kids so they don't know better."" Whenever repairs were being made on the property they would not knock on the door, they would step in and out of the property un-announced. They have on multiple occasions told us we were wrong, and hung up on us when calling them. They have also denied to replace a furnace filter claiming it doesn't have a filter even though we found one (EXTREMELY DIRTY) on the furnace. They failed to tell us about LEAD paint on the walls until after we signed the lease. We have on multiple occasions asked the property management to multitask and appraisal the property and have inspection on the same day that way we only have to take one day off work instead of two, we cannot have them over without someone home because they are untrustworthy (example coming in the house with only kids inside.) They refused to have inspections or anything on days we wanted or would work better for us, they gave us little notice sometimes only 14 hours. They constantly had the excuse of ""we have 160 other properties to deal with not just yours."" It sounds to me like a personal problem, I am sorry they took on too many properties for them to handle but that has nothing to do with the way they should be treating us. I wish and I WILL get out of this lease! WORST BUSINESS EVER!! more

Stay Away 8/11/2009

Stay away from these people. They are very intrusive - you can expect them going through your property (and personal items) every three months. We rented from them for over four years, never missed a payment, never were late on a payment, had a professional cleaning service clean the property when we vacated - and they still kept our security deposit. The unit was in perfect condition right down to the last light bulb we replaced. They are rude and difficult to deal with and you can kiss any deposit good-bye no matter how well you take care of your rental. Consider yourself warned!\r more

Good For Nothing Landlord 11/12/2008

Where to begin, I first would have to say that when first moving in it took forever for the leaky roof to be repaired. When I voiced my concern to the landlord about overly loud neighbors, I was told to deal with it myself. Also, the toilet needed to be fixed, it took some time in getting that done, then I was billed for it. My complains about excessive mold underneath the sinks, in the garage and pretty much through out the apartment fell on unconcerning ears. The landlord was very hard to get ahold of and also hard to work with. The landlord more than once said I can't leave, because I was breaking the lease and he would procecute me. Let me say, I'm glad not to be renting from them anymore! more

Excessive fees 5/1/2007

Beware of ""Mandatory Fees"" not mentioned in their contract. Their management fee does NOT include things like: allowing access to the property for mandatory inspections by the city fire marshall or repair men, you will be billed for a minimum of one hour ($45.00) for them to open the door. I was charged $45.00 for them to look inside to see that the smoke detectors needed batteries, then another $45.00 labor plus the charge for the batteries, to install them!! Numerous requests for an adjustment of such fees were denied. It also snowed enough for snow removal at my property 3 times while my other property manager in the same area said ""What snow?"" I could go on and on............... more
