I called this company to clean out a drain. They seemed friendly and nice. I even thought to myself, if they do a good job I'll write them a nice review. By the time they were done, I had been told I needed to replace the entire line. This would cost me $850. I said I would have to get back to them before doing the work. While I filled out the information on my payment slip for the rooter service they had attempted, the plumber told me he would check my water pressure. I had not asked him to do this. I was told it was at a dangerous high of 120. My pipes could burst at any time! I saw the gauge myself and it did indeed read 120. This would cost me another $300. It was recommended it be done ASAP if I didn't want my pipes to burst. This surprised me because it had never been a problem before. I called someone out for a second estimate. It turns out I didn't need a new line after all. This got me thinking. So I asked him to check my water pressure. When he attached his gauge to the regulator it read at the normal 60. It seems to me that Overland Plumbing needs to calibrate their gauge correctly or someone might think they are trying to take advantage of their customers. You can judge for yourself but I certainly won't be doing business with them. I do not appreciate being taken advantage of.
