Excellent service, staff, and inventory. I have used this store frequently over the past several years. The owners are very knowledgable, helpful, and PATIENT (which is great for working with customers like me). Their inventory is well priced, and even when its a bit more than online I still go there for the excellent service. I've learned a lot from the staff there, who always help me explore ideas for upcoming photo projects. I've spent thousands there on various supplies over the years, from film to cases to light stands, etc, and I will continue to use their business. They are my number one pick for photo supplies, if you are in the KC area there is not a better photo store around! more

Overland Photo Supply was started by the two head employees of C&J Photographic Equipment. They are extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of photography and they teach you as well as sell you equipment unlike the large department stores. more

Serving Pros and Amateurs alike 12/19/2008

Overland Photo Supply has a broad range of products from Russian import "novelty" cameras to straight-up professional gear. When I was last there about a year ago, they had both digital and conventional film supplies.\r \r Even though I was after one of Canon's least expensive lenses, and a lightweight hiking tripod, the staff was very helpful and informative. They were readily able to tell me how the various pieces of equipment I was looking at performed in the field from their own experience.\r \r They even took time to give me some tips and input on improving my technique while I was waiting to check out behind someone with a much larger order and one of their regular customers. more
