We've been taking our cars to Oval Repair for years now, We trust Jeffs knowledge of cars and they always do a great job. The prices are reasonable and he gets the job done fast. We've been taking our vehicles here for years. We recently needed a quick repair, they were closed so we went elsewhere. We regret it SO much. We paid too much for the job and we just didn't feel the confidence that we have when we deal with Oval Repair! We consider them to be professional, honest & knowledgeable. I just brought another one of our vehicles up there today. My husband & I recommend them to anyone that asks. more

sophie sorry u r upset, but if you read the estimate, it CLEARLY STATES THE ENGINE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN APART!!! SURELY IF THE TIMING CHAIN BROKE THE VALVES WOULD OFF POSSIBLLY DAMAGED THE ENGINE!! I would like to first off say that I am sceptical of the reviews on Oval Repair on this page. No typos or spelling problems? Doubtful. I would also like to point out that the diagnostic Jeff performed missed the slack in my timing chain. He wanted to replace the motor in the car, with a repair bill in the neighborhood of $4000, when we got another opinion the head and the timing belt repair was a total of $350, if you estimate double that for labour (my rule of thumb for repair is if an estimate for labor exceeds 200% of the cost of the part I need to know why) I would expect a repair cost of $1050. I feel certain that I would have ended up with a new engine that would have solved the problem and paid nearly $4000. He may or may not have done a 2 hour diagnostic on my car, but the diagnostic recipt does not even mention that the chain had enough slack in it to remove without tools. I definately do not recommend this company and plan to make sure everyone I know understands the problems I had here. more

Jeff and the guys at Oval do a great job! I have been doing business myself with oval as well as sending my friends/family for 5 or 6 years now. Most recently, my brother-in-law had a waterpump go out on his Durango. I told him to see Jeff at oval and they had the car in and out within a day. Not only did they take care of the problem at hand, they took the time to look the entire vehicle over and make sure everything was safe for his wife and son to be driving everyday. A+ shop! Problems are diagnosed correctly, with the repairs making the car better than original. Repairs are done promptly, and always finished on time. The owners take a very personal interest in the car and the customer. Their ideas for upgrades have made my car better than when it was new. I've always wanted a place where I could take my cars for repairs without worrying about getting overcharged for unneeded repairs or exorbitant prices. Oval Repair is the place where I can leave my car and know that it will be returned better than new. Five stars is not enough!! I have very nice van that been took care, back 2 yrs ago I knew that my van was time for new engine because of anti Freeze was leaking so I let them do for me top of engine gasket leaking (I forget what called anyway) with engine light still on. after that I paid 1,800. then few days later very small leaking like 1 or 2 drops thats it and in spring of 2008 my wife her A/C dont work took to oval repairs they took allll of a/c systems out and put new tube and steel pipes for A/C Systems in I paid about 1,000 and Still leaking took other shop and they found A/C Motor was bad and we paid again 1,500 new motor and got cold in A/C then in may 2008 i took my in oval repairs for low ball joints need replace looks like they didnt do their job till nov 2008 ball joints broken again same place they change at no charge but charge me for alligment????? and so till last week i went there in morning they told me need to replace 2 front shock and your transmission leaking and your engine is miss fires ??? I took my van other shop Belle tire and get alligment I asked them about How is shock and Transmission they told me no Trans Leaking and Shock still good because I paid all 4 of heavy duty Shocks in 2006 Belle told me shocks still good for other 1 or 2 yrs also I took my van to other shop got Rebuild engine and still run Good, So I beg you save your money dont go there at Oval Repair!!!!! more

I have been taking my car here for over four years. Not only do i give my business, but both my sisters take their cars to get repaired there too. I would never trust to take it any where else. One of the workers, i believe his name is Jeff, is very nice, and even starts to know you by name. The job they do, is excellent, I've never had a problem after they fixed it. Convent hours, and they will do their best to get it done as fast as they can. Like i said, I would never and have never taken my car to someone else to fix. I've taken my cars here for years after being referred to them by my dad and they always do a great job. Nice, clean place, professional workers who know everything about Fords and most importantly they're very honest as well as very reasonable with their prices. If your car doesn't need work done they'll tell you that. They don't make up things that need to be fixed like a lot of other shops will do. I highly recommend these guys. This place was great. First I have a large Ford truck I was bringing in for a family member and they saw I was having trouble and the guy it into the bay for me. I told them the last place said it was an electric switch (that they didn't stock) that was making my engine light come on...he agreed, but then found a problem with a wire harness, fixed that--and the engine light was off. Instead of charging me $600 he fixed it with a $9 wire!! Basically I came in and said, ""please install this exact new expensive part and don't bother with anything else""-the could have easily cheated me outta money but they didn't. These guys are HONEST!! more

AIR SUSPENSION GENIUS. DEALERSHIP SAID THAT I NEEDED A NEW AIR SUSPENSION MOTOR .THE PRICE WAS ALMOST $800.00 ,SO I DECIDED TO TAKE IT TO OVAL REPAIR A PLACE I HEARD ABOUT AT A PARTY. I have been using these guys ever since I bought a Lincoln Mark VIII. They took real good care of my car and gave me some pointers on how to keep it running long. So i bought a Sable with their recommendation. They continue to work on both cars. Unfortunately it seems as though they have hired some additional staff that might not be as competent. So I am going to continue to monitor how they fix my cars. I can say my latest expereince wasn't as great as my previous (I have taken my cars to these guys a total of 5 times). Pros: Good service, Knowledgable staff. Cons: they have higher priority cars like Mustangs. more

Words can't describe how good this place is. They fixed my truck quickly, properly and at an extremely low cost. They also fixed two other problems that I have previously taken my truck to the Chevy dealer for three times with no luck. They did this at no cost and mentioned that they found these problems during their road test and just fixed them as a courtesy since they did not require any great deal of time/parts. Two mechanics worked on my car at the same time, so the repairs were completed very quickly and properly---something I never got at the new car dealership which seemed to take forever to do any repair. By the way, these mechanics also worked at a new car dealership before they went into business for themselves, so they know their stuff. They also take the time to explain the repair procedures & costs to you so that there are no surprises. I'm very glad that my son told me about this place. Oval Repair was refered to me by my brother also. My visit was great. My car was running bad the engine light was on. Jeff wrote me up called me within 1 hour and explained the problem. On my arrival I also noticed that my car was WASHED!!! All I can say is that my car ran great and they did a exellent job. Pros: clean shop more

Oval Repair was recommended to me by my brother who said they were fair to him. When my ""Service Engine"" light came on, I decided to give them a try. I brought my car in at around 10am on a day I was off work. I told them I knew not what was wrong, but I knew I couldn't fix it. I said to change the plugs too and add a oil change. The oil change was $20, but the labor to change 6 spark plugs cost me $140! They weren't sure what to do to fix my engine light so that became $210 for trial and error labor! I picked the car up and my total bill gave me sticker shock, I paid it because my car was now ""running like a dream"". Well, ""the dream"" idled extremely high, a problem it had when I first brought it in. Two days later and my ""service engine"" light was back on and so I returned it to Oval Repair to finish what they started. When I dropped it off I instructed them to ""Call if there are to be ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES"", they agreed. Pros: Nice waiting room Cons: No up front estimate, Charge you for inexperience. more

This guy knows his mustangs. Very good mechanic very hounest and meticulous with his work. This is the ONLY place I would take my car. Wait untill you see his shop very clean and nice. more
