Outback Baton Rouge S. Acadian

I love this restaurant, the steaks are cooked to perfection whether you like rare or well done. The quality of the beef is exceptional...never tough. The service is great, I've never had to wait long to get my meal once seated. The brown bread they give you is to die for all smeared with butter. I love the shrimp on the barby, the seasoning they use is very good. My son loves the blooming onion and dipping sauce, can't go in there without getting one. The prices are good, you can't get a steak of this quality anywhere else for the prices they charge. The only holdback is that they usually have a line outside the building waiting to get it. But take it from me, it's worth the wait. more

If you want a good steak without paying Ruth Chris prices, Outback is the perfect place for you. Their steaks have the best flavor and are not plain at all. The portions of their meals are great. By the time you eat the bread and salad that comes with your meal, you are usually stuffed by the time your steak comes...so go easy on those things :) Especially if you get an appetizer....it is really hard to pass those cheese fries up. Also, if you get cheese fries, they come with ranch...but if you like honey mustard, you HAVE to ask for some on the side - theirs is excellent. As for drinks, my fav is Ruby Martini - if you like Grapefruit, you'll LOVE this. If you love peaches, try the Wallabedarned - tastes like eating peaches off a tree! more
