I have been using Schmidt's for years! I love their service and selection. They have been there for me through 6 proms, several funerals, my daughter's 8 plays and so many birthdays and anniversaries, I lost count! Several weeks ago I needed a rush bouquet for my mother-in-law for her birthday. My ex-husband had recently passed away and I wanted to lift her spirits. They helped me pick a beautiful arrangement piece-by-piece and sent it to her within 3 hours! I love their products and service and will continue to use them for years to com! :) more

I was just about to order from Schmidt's, am away from home on a borrowed computer. I didn't bring the phone # so I went to City Search. I was shocked to find a nasty one star review! That person clearly was angry as he posted the same review on both City Search and another search engine. But there's another side to the story folks! I have been shopping with them since 1980. Where else do you get a florist WHO HAS HIS OWN GREENHOUSE??? Here's the big secret: The prices are incredibly reasonable and every arrangement they create is astoundingly fresh (when you grow the flowers yourself...) and literally packed with flowers. The thing that I was shocked to read was a complaint about the service - I have always found their staff (and many ttimes it was Mr. Schmidt himself) to be patient, courteous, totally helpful and unassuming). And let me tell you, I have shopped at the greenhouse with my mother, who is one of the pickiest, albeit sweet people, in the world, so I know how his patience has been tested!!! The man is a saint! I used this florist last year. I researched online and the prices seemed a little less than others for the same exact arrangements. So I went to view the arrangements and was very suprised how beautiful. They delivered out to Delaware County for a funeral and we received very many complilments, extremely satisfied. A+ more

Their customer service treats you like you're bothering them. They do not answer your questions. They try to control the whole phone call. Even in person, you can ask them one thing and they ignore what you're asking and talk about something completely different. No, sorry, you're not going to get my money being so rude. more

I have been a customer of Otto Schmidt since 1976. Over the years I have never been disappointed. The arrangements are made suitable for the occasion, and are lovely. The greenhouse is a real treat and the plants healthy and reasonably priced. Buying cut flowers for my own home is a pleasure. more

Schmidt Otto Florist shop is a great store for all your flower needs. They offer flowers for all occasions whether it be a wedding a funeral. They really do have nice selections for Valentines Day. i Love their roses they smell so fresh. There also is a nursery as well if you are a serious gardener. Just love the smell of flowers when you enter the store. more

My dad would stop here at work many days and pick up flowers for his "girls". Their fresh cut flowers are always beautiful and last a long time. You let them know how much you want to spend and they put togeter a beautiful bouquet. They alway throw in extra flowers. I can't believe how big the bouquets are. I is always nice getting flowers, so be sure to get nice flowers from Otto's. more
