I have been a regular here for around 12 years. I have been familiar with the place, people, and management for all my life. The outside will deter most. But if you drive by on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night you'll be lucky to find parking. All the locals know and love it. The fish sandwich, like I said, is the best in 10 counties. That is an honest evaluation as I have had fish sandwiches in the surrounding 10 counties. The only fish I've had that is better was fresh grouper my uncle and I caught in the Gulf in Florida. The pork tenderloin sandwich is excellent. The pizza, although seemingly pricey, is generously topped. Other things we order at are the grilled chicken platter and the burgers, both very good. The draft beer is always cold, but on a busy night bottles may be warmer than you like. Just tell the waitress or barkeep in a friendly manner and they will try to help out. They have the smaller bar pool tables, still $.50 compared to most other places that have jumped to $.75 or even $1. Darts, a jukebox, beer posters with scantily clad women. The women do come to the joint, you just have to catch them there. The girls typically go here early and go out to clubs at around 9ish. Don't go at the end of the night and expect much above the stereotypical bar queen. Some of the waitresses are smokin, but watch out. Them, and their brothers, have guns at home. A true dive if you've ever been in one, and one dear to my heart.
Pros: Fish Sandwich, Domestic Drafts under $2
Cons: You. Will. Smell. Like. Smoke.
