Other Mothers

I rate Other Mothers only ok because I have had to wait long periods of time to have my items looked over, they are very picky about what they take, and this particular location is not always so friendly. I have gone there several times and prefer their competitors over them every time. I do go there on occasion because of their good selection. more

I like a bargain as much as the next person, i'll say that right off. Other Mothers is a consignment store for Children's clothing, toys, Women's clothing etc. I have found many cute outfits for my daughter, but beware, not everything is in good shape. I have found many articles of clothing with stains and rips. On the other hand, it is a great place to take your kids with their allowance money. Other Mother's groups small toys in clear bags and marks them between $1.99 and $3.99. My kids have a ball because they can get a bunch of stuff for a reasonable price. I'm not too crazy about the staff there, they aren't very helpful. I would suggest that they pay their workers a bit more per hour to attract a greater skilled set of workers. more

I rated this as good - only because I am excited about finding a set of the old-style of Lincoln Logs for my son. But I was not impressed with the clothing. I was looking at maternity clothes, and the prices, considering the condition the clothing was in, seemed high. I can shop the clearance racks elsewhere and find stuff for the same price, but brand new. They had some neat baby furniture, but for used, it was out of my price range. more

Why is everything so dirty? Gross! The store has a smell to it, and I wouldn't want really anything from this store touching my child. The clothes are not nice at all (come on, you can get nice enough CLEAN and decent stuff from Target and wherever else, and this stuff is bad). The books probably have E Coli on them, and the toys probably have tuberculosis on them. Make sure to bring mace or something when visiting this store, when I went, there were some pretty hard-core scary people there. I will not go back. And I can't imagine there ever being something I would touch from that store, even if I boiled it beforehand. more

This store has used clothing for women, baby and children. They also carry used baby items like cribs and saucers and things. You can sometimes find something that is nice and a good deal but most of the items are not in the best shape. The store is very dirty. They buy your clothes too but you don't get much in cash and is a better deal to turn your stuff in for trade if you can find something there that you like. Parking is never a problem and usually store is not that busy. You have to drop off your clothes and usually takes a few days to get your stuff sorted through for what they want to buy. more
