Otani's is great! the food is wonderful the service and the entire dining experience all together. also the chefs are very ncie and love to talk and make you feel comfortable.

delivery took about 2 1/2 hours....

hey heinz! that night when you guys hooked us up with all the sushi AND hibachi with all of our favorite ohioans sitting around the table ranks high among my top 5 most memorable and awesome meals ever! (and the other few times i was there comprise most of the rest of them haha) just wondering, can nimbus rolls be shipped to los angel...es haha? i need one NOW!!! :) more

AMAZING!! 4/26/2011

The other day I went to Otani Japanese Restaurant and it was AMAZING!! They had the best salmon. The hibachi and sushi was the best. The chef and waitress was so nice! I got to meet the boss. They are all so nice! The rice was different then the other restaurants. I went there twice in a row and I usually get sick of sushi in twice in a row but this time I didn't get sick! We had to wait just a little bit but it was worth it! While we waited we watched the football team play and eat salad and miso soup. more

Best sushi place! 4/4/2011

Best sushi place! They have a menu of new rolls that are out of this world. My 3 year old requests this restaurant every weekend because the service is so sweet & kind and the noodle soup is perfect for him. more

Hubby's sushi was fresh and clean. Served over sticky rice and a touch of wasabi, it looked almost tasty (except for the raw fish part, but good for those folks who actually do like it). more

The sushi here is very good in my opinion. The style is a a lot of fish and a good amount of sushi rice, but not to much. The spicy sauce seems to Japanese Mayo and some hot sauce or red pepper. It works. more

Went here for dinner with my dad. It was his choice, I was trying to push Jersey Mikes but he wanted Otani! Otani it was. Started out with a fresh salmon and avocado roll. It was perfect! We both ordered chicken, shrimp and beef. more

I love the food, the service and the prices. The cooks that come and fix the food right in front of us is great. They have great personality's. I grew up in Richmond Heights, so we would go there often. Now I live hours away, but travel just to come back here. more

On the whole I give a 5 star rating to the restaurant 1/10/2011

I being vegetarian, had very restricted menu in Otani, but the Vegetarian rice,with miso soup and fresh green salad and veggie tempura as the appetizer was very good. The service was good and the chef in the brazier seating was very good too. On the whole I give a 5 star rating to the restaurant. more

They were able to answer all my questions 1/6/2011

The choice of where to sit is the first choice of many. Then the drink (great sake), sushi, appetizers, then finally the main dish, and don't for get the mochi to end the eveing. The staff is wonderful, the sushi chefs were funny and chatted. They were able to answer all my questions, and make sure everything was perfect. Yes sometimes you have to wait, but you know what it is worth it! I take the 2 hour trip from Toledo about once every 45 days or so just to have their food! more

Fun atmosphere, Awesome food, and great service....what's not to love?! We've gone to Otani's with groups and as a couple. It is perfect for a fun night out or a romantic dinner alone...We drive from Toledo for this one-of-a-kind meal! more

I have been going to Otani since i was little. my parents always took us there for our birthdays...i have loved it forever, i cannot go to another hibachi restaurant...it isnt the same...i love the soup white sauce salad dressing is AMAZING! more
