Best clothing I have found In the Pacific Northwest. AWESOME customer service. 12/9/2007

Okay, I shop at a lot of places for clothing. Usually Macy's and Nordstrom's. I wanted a coat made by a specific company; Stone Island. There are very few stores in the US that carry this brand. I found exactly what I was looking for at Oslo's. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by the owner John, and was made to feel very comfortable. I asked to see some of the Stone Island coats that they carry, and he brought them out with a smile. John also helped me find the size that fit perfectly. I tried on a few coats and all of them in different sizes. Usually at any of the department stores, you feel like you are bothering the salesperson by trying on so many items. At Oslo's, I was welcomed to try on whatever I like. Just as well, they held the coats for me (as a man does for his wife) so trying them on was really easy. I was guided in fit and comfort and was given opinions on how they thought each coat looked. The one that I liked the most, John commented that it looked great, and ""you look very comfortable in that"". So he also noticed my body language and posture as I tried on something that really made me feel good about the way I looked. However that day, we left, without buying the coat. We were told ""thank you for stopping by"" and everyone smiled at us, even though we didn't buy anything. Now the next day, I went back and bought the coat, and John remembered my name, and greeted me, again with a huge smile and a warm heart. This is one of the most memorable shopping experiences that I have ever had. They also include a very nice hanger and a complimentary coat bag for such purchases. I highly recommend Oslo's to anyone in need of men's clothing. To the team at Oslo's; Thank you, and keep up the great work! You are the number one store on my list. \r Also, one great aspect, is meeting Oslo, John's dog. He is a very nice and well behaved Golden Retriever.\r \r All in all, I give this store a rating of 6 stars on the 5 star scale! Pros: Awesome customer service, great prices and a well kept store. Store hours are great. Cons: It's 70 miles from my house :( more

Out of the office and into the night 12/4/2007

You can find a fashion forward shirt for a date that night or a pair of trousers for the office on Thursday just by mentioning your needs to the sales staff. To top it all off, you can get a top-drawer haircut and shave. You can walk out of Oslo's feeling like a crisp $100 bill. Being known by name is a tell-tale sign of excellent service. And if nothing else; Oslo's provides a degree of service equal to the best haberdasheries in the West. Myself, I have no problem dropping a few dollars on a terrific item I won't see 15 other guys wearing. So if you're adverse to having your sales associate pay attention to you and (wholly cow!) actually ask you questions about what you're looking for - don't go here. Actually, don't go here anyway. I want to keep this all to myself. Parking can be a pain but, Oslo's provides a great experience and exceptional service. And yes, the dog is cute. more

Best Clothing Store in Seattle 11/26/2007

When I relocated from Westchester County, New York to Seattle this spring, I left behind not only family and friends but a local haberdashery with the kind of service and product selection I thought I'd never find in Seattle. But I was wrong. Oslo's has a great selection of clothing (pants, sweaters, shirts, jackets), and a professional staff that makes the overall shopping experience recommended. What I've learned later in life is that a clothing store where everyone knows your name is as important as a saloon that does the same. To get to five stars, Oslo's only need diversify its offering from a price perspective. This will have me shopping more, and explaining my credit card bills less to my wife. more

Say hi to Olso the golden retriever 11/20/2007

Oslos is a superb shopping experience. they always have something new in-store when I go, Oslo the golden retriever is the stores mascot. Fall is an especially exciting time to shop as you will see vivid coloured sweaters, jackets and scarves. \r The store offers grooming services also. Chad, Oslos barber, gives great cuts and traditional shaves, I have yet to get a shave but I definitely plan on it. Good gift options for every kind of guy. highly recommend. Pros: always something new, open till 9;00 pm on Thursdays Cons: dont shop if your allergic to Oslo, more

Best Men's Store 11/18/2007

If you are a guy who appreciates good quality clothes, cares what you look like and don't want to see yourself walking down the street, then Oslo's, A Men's Store, is the store for you. John McDowell has created the perfect men's clothing store that ""guys"" will enjoy shopping in. It's fun, low-key, comfortable and not pretentious in any way. Whether you are a fashion plate or a dude who needs a nice shirt to wear with jeans on Friday night, Oslo's is the place for you. The staff are very knowledgeable and easy-going. The store is chock full of so many cool items, that it helps to talk to the staff about your interests and needs. There is probably the perfect piece hidden that you might overlook on your own. While prices are a step up from the popular chain stores, you will find unique and affordable items to enhance your basic wardrobe. These are pieces of clothing you will fall in love with and want to wear for years to come. Treat yourself and check out Oslo's, A Men's Store. I promise you won't be disappointed. more

Best menswear store I've found in Seattle 11/21/2006

It's great to find a store that is completely for men and has great clothing. There's a great selection here for a boutique. It's really a superb store. They are very helpful and Oslo is a sweet dog who makes your feel comfortable while shopping. more

Excellent selection 11/12/2006

Best selection of shirts in Seattle. They have lots of better brands and seem to have a good variety of styles. Everything looks good the way they put it together so it is easy to get that Seattle kind of style. Pros: They are open every day. I hate those specialty stores that are closed one day a week or have real limited hours. Cons: They don't have womens clothing. I wish they had a womens store like this one on top of Queen Anne more

Great selection and service 11/12/2006

I love that I can shop for my husband, my nephews, my father here and always find something that each one of them will actually wear. So many times you go in a shop and they make suggestions and you go home and the guy you give it to just never wears it...I have never had that happen with the gifts I've bought at Oslo's. Also, I love the bags...they look cool and are very sturdy and I use them to tote all kinds of stuff around. Pros: They stayed one night til way after closing helping me with an outfit for my nephew that was graduating for college Cons: parking is just always a pain on top of Queen Anne but once you find a spot everything is within walking distance more

Ladies you'll love shopping for your guy here! 11/4/2006

I think this shop was suited for the woman trying to get her boyfriend to become more metrosexual. \r Oslo the golden retriever is almost always there to greet people in the door and there's a barber right inside giving walk-in haircuts. \r They have a great selection of clothes for the fashion-fearing and loving guys out there. more
