Best

Okay, I shop at a lot of places for clothing. Usually Macy's and Nordstrom's. I wanted a coat made by a specific company; Stone Island. There are very few stores in the US that ca...

Great place (if you can afford it) 3/24/2007

Perhaps I'm not ready for boutique shopping yet, but I think Oslo's is just overpriced; I've found the same clothes at many other local clothing stores at much lower prices. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, but a tad pushy. It's hard to just "look around" in Oslo's. It's a tiny, crammed atmosphere, but appears to have a decent selection. I would recommend a drop in, but if you're concerned about spending too much, shoot over to The Industry in Fremont. more

fun and stylish but pricey 6/17/2006

oslo is new to queen anne and tres hip. stainless steel wallets, retro izod shirts, even a barber on staff who can give a full face shave with a straight razor! they have great clothing and accessories, period. but it'll cost you. the stainless steel wallets are about $100, depending on the style. shirts that i saw start at $75 and double easily. etc. but you won't find cheaply made unstylish duds at oslo, so if you don't mind spending the extra dough, it's worth it. the staff is fabulous, and the oft-present dog oslo is a love. more

The most stylish mens clothing around 5/18/2006

Oslo's on the top of Queen Anne opened a couple months ago and it has the best collection of stylish hip clothes for men around. The owner is a guy named John and he's there everyday with his dog Oslo (store namesake). Great place for gifts for yourself and others. He's also got a barber chair in there for a haircut--Chad there cut my hair a couple weeks ago & I was pleased with it. more

A person not a $ sign! 5/12/2006

Service is the only thing that counts. A shirt is a shirt and I can get one anywhere even online so service is the only difference for where I shop. I want to be treated like a person, acknowledged and appreciated. I have been into Oslo's a men's store twice now and each time I feel like they are excited that I am there. The result...that is where I spend my money! more

A Real Men's Store for Real Men! 4/14/2006

Last week I went into a new men's store, Oslo's a men's store on the top of Queen Anne Hill. WOW! They had everything you could possibly want in hip, cool, trendy fashions for men at any age. A golden retriever named Oslo with a stuffed monkey in his mouth greeted me at the door. Chad, the barber, was giving a guy a shave and the owner, John McDowell, gave me a big smile and said hello. I felt like I was an old friend. I found a fabulous Robert Graham shirt and a pair of James Perse pants for my brother's 40th birthday and a Velvetman tee shirt for my 28 year old nephew. I loved the music videos and found myself groovin to a Doors/Blondie face-off. John is knowledgeable, helpful, and fun. He wasn't pushy and seemed really interested in my finding the right things for my brother and nephew. I even wound up buying a gift card for a shave for my dad for Father's Day. It was one of the best shopping experiences I have had in a long time. It was refreshing to be treated like a person and be able to buy for all the men in my life. I recommend Oslo's a men's store. And when you go- pet Oslo for me. more
