A West Hartford Institution has Closed 6/23/2007

We'd had some lovely meals in this brightly-lit but very good place. They closed and it took us a while to discover some of the staff had been hired by Szechuan Tokyo. The people at Szechuan Tokyo told us that Osaka couldn't take the rent escalation imposed by their landlord and continue to make a profit. Sad, they were the best value in nearly any cusine in this are. more

Not very fresh 8/12/2002

The fish here was not very good and it wasn't very fresh. I've had much better. Go try Fuji Japanese Restaurant located at 1144 New Britain Ave. in West Hartford. Their fish is very very fresh and the sushi is great. They also have very good lunch specials. more
