"Not So" Gentle 9/29/2011

Just so other people know...they do use nitrous, but with patients who DO need it for extreme fear of all dentall procedures, they won't want to use it all the time and the dentist can be quite rude about it as well. I've known of patients with this fear and if they're willing to pay for the nitrous, why not make the patient comfortable? This is somewthing that your practice advertises after all in your flyers. As a result, several patients have left the drs. office in tears and in one case a cracked tooth because the dentist was so aggravated. NO PATIENT should have any kind of bad experiences, especially with a practice who uses the nitrous as a draw to new patients. Kudos to Wendy and Amber for being the ONLY caring ones throughout the process. I know most people don't understand the fear mentioned above, but believe me...IT DOES HAPPEN more

I FOUND A GOLD NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK 9/28/2011

Today was my first Dental appointment with Dr. Orr. I could not have been more pleased. They called me back before I even had time to fill out my paperwork. Dr. Orr and her staff were very informative. My first experience at a Dental office, that after my exrays, consultation, and some other proceedures, I actually look forward to coming back for my next appointments. Dr. Orr spent the required time with me, and never did I feel as though I was just one of many on a production line. She did a great and informative exam, answered questions, and concerns, explain everything in great detail. Thank you Dr. Orr and your staff. more

I love Gentle Breeze Dentistry 8/11/2011

Dr. Orr finished my root canal yesterday. As always, the staff is so kind and caring. Dr. Orr ended up having to do more work than anticipated on my tooth...so my appointment took longer and cost more than expected. But I know I am in good hands with her and I trust her implicitly! But why does dental work have to be so very terribly expensive? I don't know how people who don't have insurance ever afford it! more

Recent visit 7/10/2011

My hygienist Meagan was very friendly and knowledgeable and made an otherwise unpleasant procedure tolerable. Dr. Orr was very professional and I appreciated the time and individualized attention she gave me during my visit. The front office staff was also extremely courteous, which is rare in a doctor's office. I would highly recommend Dr. Orr and her team to others. more

I walked into Gentle Breeze overwhelmed with anxiety!! Dr. Orr was so professional AND gentle that she really has helped me through a major breakthrough fo my life long fear of dentists! A First Visit 5/10/2011

After living in Santa Rosa Beach for 10 years and traveling back and forth to my dentist in Atlanta, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Orr. The office on 30-A is convenient, well appointed, and has a very professional and friendly staff. The procedure was performed flawlessly and achieved my expectation. I think it's about time! I plan to continue to have Dr. Orr provide my dental care. more

My First "Real" Visit to Gentle Breeze Family Dentistry 5/5/2011

This is the first time I've had a dentist and her staff be so very accommodating to my work schedule! I work 15 minutes from their office and they were kind enough to call me when Dr. Orr was running late so I didn't have to sit in the waiting room. I was able to stay at my desk at work for 45 minutes longer, which kept my boss in a very good mood! As far as my appointment goes, Dr. Orr had some challenges with her equipment...so my procedure took a little longer than it should have...but it was no one's fault. She is very thorough and very caring. My ONLY complaint is that it is cold in that office! Dr. Orr kindly got me a blanket...but the next time I will wear shoes & socks instead of flip flops and I'll bring a sweatshirt! ha! I am so glad I found a new dentist that I love...and her staff is the best! more
