We stopped here for lunch while touring plantations, and how neat to see the mix of customers! Well-dressed ladies for lunch right next to work-jumpsuited oil workers, all treated equally well. Our server, Laura, was fantastic. Really friendly and fun and took great care of us. It was such a neat odd mix of both casual and fancy at the same time. Crab and brie dip was outstanding, and Les Miles salad was fabulous too. I guess he is an LSU coach - I'm not into sports and not from the area so I was assuming it was a fancy French name, ""lay mee lay,"" ha ha! I was expecting this to be a stuffy uncomfortable place, but we had a great experience. Entrance door is unmarked - it is the one furthest from the parking lot on the front of the house. Worth a stop if you are in the area.
