Orinda Oaks is a charming park offering a small grassy area next to picnic tables, then countless acres of open space up a hillside. The trails may be steep and rarely maintained, but that adds to its charm and appeal to some locals. This isn’t a typical park with a playground but still worth a visit if you like to hike and experience a more rugged outdoors. more

Tennis and Lots of Kids 8/15/2005

The Orinda Community Center Park is located in the center of Orinda Village and is particularly popular with children after visits to the adjacent Orinda Library. The park contains two playgrounds for children of different ages and a series of tennis courts. The middle of the park is a vast grass expanse useful for flying kites, tennis-ball chasing dogs, and hyper children. Not the most modern park around, but still convenient and lots of fun. more
