If you eat here you will love it. I think anyone who ate here will come back again and again...I think the bad reviews are from people who must have eaten at RIO RIO next door and saw the Original sign on the way out.. The food is always damn good and the service is amazing considering how busy the place is. the charro beans are killer. more

    Open around-the-clock on weekends, this location pays homage to the oldest Mexican restaurant across the river that closed in 1960. Featured traditional dishes range from cabrito (young goat) served in a mild ranchero sauce to tamales. Private banquet facilities in two rooms can accommodate from 45 to 100. Strolling Mariachis provide music most evenings. Drink specials are rotated. The most exotic cocktail is the frozen mango margarita: Triple Sec, tequila, pureed mango and sour mix.
