Oregon Dental Care

Although Dr. Vu is an excellent dentist, I don't think there could be a worse staff there. I was overcharged hundreds of dollars (and still have an outstanding balance of another $135). The last billing lady I checked out with wanted me to pay it. I asked her why and what was it. She couldn't tell me and said I just needed to pay it. Well, I waited for my EOB from my insurance, which is when I found out I was overcharged. When I contacted their billing department, I spoke with several billing specialists, the office manager, and the financial manager. I was lied to, belittled, and insulted. The office manager admitted they had made at least 2 mistakes to me, but that they refused to fix them and that I owed the money. I am working with the Better Business Burearu now, because the financial manager said I couldn't call there anymore. Save yourself the headache and find a place that has some amount of customer service and morals. more

Horrendous customer service and billing department more

I have been a client for 10 years- and this is the last time I will ever come here. From the rudeness of the staff, incompetency of the insurance billers and the sheer lack of customer service, this business is not worth supporting. Have I mentioned that they charge $15 to transfer your records ELECTRONICALLY if you decide you no longer want to put up with their lack of care? The Dr. refused to make a call to my specialist in regards to my care, ordered treatment for the wrong tooth (um, implant- BIG mistake),....and this is after my previous denstist left and they never bothered to tell me. Truly my loss since they stuck me with a certifiable moron who couldn't be bothered to say "Hello!" when we first met. With the way they go thru staff and quality dentists...well, you fill in the blanks. Please, do yourself a favor, while convenient to have your root canal done in the same office you can get a cleaning, find a better dentist. I agree with the other reviewer saying they wanted to cry when leaving. You really get the same vibe from these people as you do at the car lot! Untrustworthy and your leaving getting ripped off. The way this office and staff treat their patients is the exact reason people wait 10+ years before going back. They are so rude and insult you, your teeth, lecture and degrade while they are in your mouth. THEN you get to have the list of "needed" procedures printed off by their rude receptionist/billing lady who acts more like a car salesman. And getting the list of these procedures and total it will cost is about the price of a car........ ?!!? No thank you... Even if the work is necessary, I would much rather give that money to an honest friendly dentist that has been recommended. Location is not everything. Considering Oregon Dental Care? You have no idea how satisfying it is for me to see other negative reviews re:Oregon Dental Care. I'm so done there - they've gone downhill. I recently had such terrible experiences that it had me leaving stunned and choking back tears. I kid you not. Not only was the dentist peculiar and in denial, but had his ignorant/rude asst. support his every word. I wanted psychiatric help, but getting a second opinion did the trick. Something strange is going on there. Looking forward to better dental and personal treatment elsewhere. more

Oregon Dental is a horrible place, and their staff are evil and rude. They cost too much for the terrible service they provide. I wish I had done more investigation into other dental offices before choosing this one. more

I have seen a couple of dentists at this facility, what turns me off the most is I had mentioned a problem for a year, and they kept steering me away from it. Treating other issues, now that the crown has lifted they have to pay attention to it and now it needs a root canal. \r I have actually been in the doctors chair when the ladies from the office.... payment takers have came and wanted payment before a filling was done when doctor had found that I needed one more. Well I found this to be poor and non professional since I had been with them since 2008 and have insurance and always prepaid. And most of their clerks talk down to people, sad to say. I can handle the Doctors but most of the staff is rude. Just finishing the yr. with them and then my family and I will not ever be seen here again.\r THIS STAFF WILL SINK THIS BUSINESS, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! more

I dealt with a different Dr then Colby Judy. My experience here has been really nice. I have been here twice without insurance. The first time I had a filling fall out and they saw me very quickly. I had cash to be able to pay for this service. I have been back again this past month. I had some money on a health savings plan from a previous employer. They got me in for my root canal without having cash on hand, but knowing I would have this money coming soon from the other company. I am able to make payments on the balance. They also got me in on their personal health plan for people who are self employed which my husband is. So this saved me a lot of money on what is to be paid. Everyone who worked with me has been helpful. They have both times been very courteous. A previous dentist I had years ago just lectured me on my dental care and wouldn't help me until I learned to brush better, but wouldn't even take the time to teach me. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Things have gone down hill. I applied for their $29 new patient special. I was ignored in the waiting room while patients (who had later appointments) were being attended to. I thought I heard in the background that they didn't want to see me. Is this how a professional business is run? Despite all their advertisements, I found them to be some of the least professional in the Eugene area. Don't go here. They don't want your business or time. more

This place is very professional with high tech equipment. The staff is great and prices are about average.The dentists are very good at their work. Money talks here. So one must have cash, insurance or a credit card. I would recomend this place as a good one. It is tricky to find but they give good directions. Parking is at a minimum . worth checking out id looking for new place for you dentistry. PROS: CONS: tricky to find building more
