I used to love Handle with Care! At the end of 2018 Dr. Handle sold his business to one of the major corporate owed vet companies. Kim, the office Manager who was there for decades was let go and replaced by one of the corporate insiders. Dr. Belanger quit and moved on to another practice. Tabatha the vet tech did the same thing. Lisa at the front desk left. Usually in these cases the owner stays on for a year or so as part of the deal before retiring. I feel really bad for those folks who had been there for many years. Would you take a benefit and pay cut after you had been there for decades? Probably not. I lost many of the best Drs and techs that took care of my pets. Sad day for Handle with Care customers and employees. Liz L. more

In the beginning I couldn't say enough good things, that was 15 yrs ago, and a few pets. I just got a new golden doodles and after a year of fighting an ear infection I decide to take her to a specialist. Their reply was "oh they will definately find out what's wrong with her". Couldn't have told me that a year ago huh? My wife and I ended up taking her to Canobie Animal Hospital, where come to find out they had been fighting a yeast infection and it was actually a bacterial infection. They staff at Handle seemed to push stuff on you aggressively. Something has changed there and not for the better. My dog is one of my own and after receiving the unbelievable caring service at Canobie Lake Animal Hospital, I feel bad that I put her through that. If I wouldn't go someplace, I will not take my dog and Handle with Care is a lackadaisical clinic. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE TO HANDLE WITH CARE. Wish I could give them negative stars. more

We took our dog there for rabies vaccination they told us he would need to have some teeth extracted we should bring him in they would take blood and check it to make sure he was able go have the surgery needed we said okay paid to have it done.Not even a week later he was sick and passed we don't know what happened. We went in and one vet told us it was up to her to fight for life. Needless to say our dog is a boy and he was corrected twice. Than we seen the other vet who instead of coming in the room to tell us what there trying to do to make him better we're give the bill to look over. The next day they talk to us about the bill and how were going pay for it. We had given them all our information so we could focus on making him better. We thought we were taking him some where for help instead he fought to go in and I feel sick for it. We lost him a couple of days later. When they took us back to see him the back area was disgusting not clean at all. If you want my opinion you love your cat, your dog there one of the family don't go here. Take my word for it they are looking for money only not to help your family pet. more
