It is hard to find such good customer service anymore. I am a registered nurse and tend to expect a little too much from my visits to doctors and dentists and I must say this office ALWAYS delivers. I work very hard for my money and when I am spending the amount that I do on eyewear it is nice to get the service along with it. I used to hold all customer service up to the Disney World Standard and they no longer meet my expectations, and now it is the OptiExpress standards that others must meet. Thank you so very much for hiring the perfect staff. more

Dr. Witherington is extremely thorough and conscientious in his work. I can actually credit him with saving my life. He found plaque in my retina and the vascular doctor told me I could have had a major stroke at any time. I’ve been coming to him since I found him 11 years ago, and would never go to anyone else. more

Erica, our technician, gave us outstanding service, able to choose the perfect style for me and my husband in 10 years like no other. In the month of September 2012, I went to the OpticaExpress in the village of Lehigh Acres where I live, in order to apply for new lenses, being attended by Dr. Michael Witherington, who recognized me in diagnosing me “Narrow angle Glaucoma” in both eyes and alerting me about the danger of the disease and possibility of losing the vision in full with care and attention, recommending me to turn to Dr. Vinod D. Bravnani, who I operate with relative urgency both eyes.\r If it were not for the professionalism of Dr. Michael Witherington, he had lost the vision, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart to contemplate at the moment everything that surrounds me, to be able to continue working for my church and my God, I am a Christian and have the joy of seeing my children and grandchildren, that’s why through this written express my feeling and gratitude for Dr. Michael Witherington. more

Dr. Witherington has a stellar reputation. Many friends have told me that when he sends them to an ophthalmologist for further testing, the doctors are amazed that Dr. W. discovered barely discernible problems (i.e. mac degen, glaucoma, etc.) at very early stages. Dr. W. rocks! more

My wife had her eyesight test done for glasses in Dec 2012 up north and when she complained to her doctor that she had to hold her reading materials about 6” from her eyes to see she was told that she would have to live with it as it was the best that could be done. However when we came south I pleaded with my wife to get her eyes tested again here in Fort Myers Fl. to confirm her doctor’s words. Dr. Witherington at OptiExpress was able to more than double her vision. Now she won’t have to hold things so closely to read anymore or use a magnifying glass. more

Thanks to Dr. Witherington my glasses are the best for vision, especially for far sight, that I have had in the last 15 years. All the other doctors told me that if your vision is not clear when you first put the new glasses on, you’ll get used to them, but I never did—I just lived with them thinking it was my fault. Dr. Witherington told me that if the new glasses are not clear the first time you put them on, then you will not get used to them and they will have to be corrected, which he did and I think him many times over. more

I have been a patient of Mr. Witherington since he opened his office in Cape Coral. I am extremely happy with the care he has given me. Just recently he detected a problem with my optic nerve. The specialist he sent me to said that Dr. Witherington saved my sight by acting quickly. If I am concerned about something with my eyes I know I can call him & he will always make time for me. I came into opti-express without an appointment. I was seen without any waiting. The doctor was remarkable. I was quite impressed with his genuine concern that I got the exact prescription! The gentleman that helped me pick out my glasses was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I walked out with a pleasant experience, Two perfect pairs of glasses at my disposable in a week. He saved Mother's Day for me 10/5/2011

I give Dr. Witherington a 5 star rating when it comes to being a great optometrist. He is unlike most doctors since he treats his patients like family. He only wants the best for our eyes. He will go out of his way to work with a patient until they are satisfied and he knows he has done the very best to help them with their eyesight. Dr. Witherington is the most understanding and caring ophthalmologist I have ever been to. I was definitely blessed by being introduced to him and his staff by the Lions Club. If not for his talent and expertise, I would not be able to see. His staff is just as caring and helpful like none other I have been to.
