I visited Dr. Witherington for a Routine Eye Exam. During this exam, he discovered I had the beginning of muscular degeneration and referred me to the Retina Center. After my exam there, they praised Dr. Witherington for discovering this and stated very, very few doctors would have picked on this and said I was very lucky to have started treatment. Thank you Dr. Witherington. more

Recently I had a problem with my right eye and not being from here in Fort Myers I needed a eye doctor ASAP, I come from RF but wasn’t able to get back to my own eye doctor up north.\r So I seen Dr. Witherington’s office on the way to my apartment here in Fort Myers where I now live and I am so blessed that he was able to take care of my problem ASAP, within a few days it got 100% better, I truly believe that God has put me in the right place at the right time. Thank God for Dr. Witherington. more

I am 68-years-old, and Dr. Witherington is the best eye doctor I have ever had! I came in a few weeks ago with swollen corneas from napping in my contacts. Of course I thought it would be ok for a few hours. Oh no! Today, I do not sleep in them anymore and take them out when my eyes feel tired. Dr. Witherington has helped me to see better and now my astigmatism is better with these new contacts. He knows how important it is for me to wear contacts instead of glasses all the time. Dr. Witherington is the miracle man for my eyes. He is very patient and is looking to find my best vision. My eyes can see so much better now thanks to my miracle man, Dr. Witherington. more

My past eye exams have resulted in less than accurate prescriptions but the lenses you prescribed allow me to see without the use of reading glasses! The difference was amazing. Approximately 5 years ago my husband came to see Dr. Witherington for a routine eye exam and glasses. He also wanted me to have my eyes checked, because I was having horrible headaches. Dr. Witherington examined me and told me that in 20 years he had never seen papilla edemas as bad as mine. He told me I had pseudo-tumor cerebri and reffered me to another physician, who confirmed the diagnosis. His initial diagnosis saved my life because my opening pressures for lumbar puncture were very high. I ended up with a lumbo-periotoneil shunt, and I will be on medication for a very long time. I also followed up him when the doctors wanted to an optic never fenestration, and sought his advice. He referred me to Bascon-Palmer Institute to be examined. I am doing very well and your diagnosis inspired me to live my best life. I am now a registered nurse in the Cape Coral Hospital Intensive Care Unit. Thank you for your care, and dedication to your patients. God bless you. more

On a recent visit to Dr. Witherington’s office, my wife received a complete eye exam. This exam revealed some corrective needs, which were accomplished in on visit. We were able to solve these in the glasses we ordered. We were especially impressed with the Drs. Mastery of his profession. more
