If you're a vegetarian, this is your new favorite restaurant 8/16/2006

Quite simply the biggest and most varied café-style vegetarian menu I've ever seen. As you might expect, the vibe of the place leans into granola territory - but, thankfully, doesn't fall over the edge. In addition to hippie standbys like black bean burritos, tofu scramble, and veggie burgers, there's a tempeh Reuben, a BLT with fake bacon, homestyle meals (such as lasagna and mac & cheese), and some more exotic things. Prices are typical (around seven or eight bucks for most sandwiches and other standard fare, and around eleven or twelve for entrees). I'm used to only having a few vegetarian options at most restaurants, and it's awesome to see a menu with literally scores of them. I have a feeling I'll be going here often. more

The One World Cafe is a good option for food that is healthy and tastes good. They've always been accomodating for our kids, making them things that aren't on the menu. They do have high chairs, but not many. more
