I realize that the outcome of my experience was totally my fault. I took in 2 full totes, (the required 18 gallon size), and left with less than 1 tote half-full. So she kept a good amount. But when she told me $40, I was shocked. I said,"$40?" She said, "you can refuse the offer". I was still shocked, so i said, "Okay. That's better than nothing." This was my 3rd trip there trying to sell the clothing: Trip#1, I was refused, as the items were in laundry baskets. Trip#2, totally my fault, as I had not read the sign on the window that states they are closed on Mondays. Trip#3, I was able to leave the clothing there. So I was actually glad to be done with it. I accepted the offer, and she insisted on carrying my totes out of the store. I am fully capable, but she refuse to let me. After I returned home and went through what was left, I found that she had kept 8 - 10 Nike hoodies, a Lacosta puffy jacket, that was less than a year old, Nike shirts and shorts, and I was paid $40. These were not 'small child' sizes. These were boy's sizes large and x-large. When I contacted her 2 days later, and told her she ripped me off, she repeated that I could have refused the offer. I told her I would never sell things there again, and I was going to post about it. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE!! Know the approximate worth of your items. Pay attention to what she keeps. Perhaps had I refused the offer, the amount may have gone up. Seller Beware!!!
