So-So Kids Shop 11/13/2005

This is a small shop in a strip mall in the Orchards area. The shop itself is clean and there is plenty of room to park. I went in to look for some inexpensive clothes for my daughter and found most of their clothing to be priced a bit on the high side. I can find new clothing on sale for the same price at the chain stores. I also took in some clothes for resale and even though they were in excellent condition and name-brand clothing, they buy them outright from you (no consignment) and they want to give you pennies on the dollar for them. I probably wil only check in every once in awhile and not make a special trip. more

Nice brand clothing! 9/7/2005

If you are looking for used clothing that is name brand, this is the place to go. I've great luck finding Gap, Old Navy, OshKoshB'Gosh etc. and they have the clothing in boy/girl sections vs. just by size. For $3-5 a piece, you can get a pretty nice (hole-free) pair of pants or shirt. They also have books, puzzles & some baby gear available to purchase. Parking lot is sufficient for parking. Just beware, they close early. 6pm on weekdays. Otherwise, I have found some nice finds! PROS: Brand name clothing CONS: Close too early more

Rude and over priced 7/25/2005

Once Upon a Child is a rip off! They act like THEY are doing YOU a favor my taking your items. And they give you squat for them. Rude, and very unfriendly. The store is ok, it does have a place for kids to play which is nice, but they have crappy toys in there. Staff is not friendly or helpful. I feel ripped off from them and won't go back. more

Hit or Miss 7/7/2005

I have stopped by this shop a few times and I either find a few cute items or nothing at all. The prices are a little more expensive than other consignment shops around town. The staff is friendly and they let you shop without constantly being over your shoulder. If I do need help finding sizes or a particular item, they are always quick to give me a hand. But overall, I cannot find great stuff there consistently to give it a better rating. more

Sometimes cute clothes. 6/28/2005

But most of the time this store is overpriced. You will find new with tags items at walmart for cheaper. Customer service is my main complaint. I don't understand why they will stand there with customers in the store gossiping about other customers and about their lives. AND many are very snotty. So much so I won't go back. PROS: Some times cute, good deals CONS: Snotty employees/ high prices more
