Once Upon A Child

I went into this store today to sale some clothes and baby items, and the lady was very rude to me and other customers. They were not taking some of the baby items and I had to take my 3 month old and the items back out to my car. I was not allowed to keep them in the store while I waited. It took them 2 hours to go thru mine and one other person clothing. The thing that made me really mad was them wanting to keep a jacket of an outfit and gave back the pants. The lady was very rude and disrespectful towards me. I asked for the jacket back and I was not able to have it back because I sign the paper already. And I was purchasing some other clothes and after everything was done they handing me back my bag of clothes that they did not want and that was when I found the pants without the jacket. I actually returned everything that I just bought and I told them I would not be back in that store again. HERE IS THE RIPE OFF PART I had to buy back the jacket for $0.88 so they were going to turn around and sell it for 2.50 + and make money as they ripe you off. You are better to have a big garage sale in the spring you would make more money that way then selling it to them. The sales lady was also complaining that she was really tired and ready to go home. This was right when the store opened. more

This store has horrible customer service. The racks are jammed so tight you cannot shop, and the prices are high. The first time I went in, they would not allow me to use a Visa card for an $8 purchase, and were rude about it. They have a $10 minimum to use a credit card, which is not allowed by Visa. Today, I decided to give them one more chance since I was already in the area. I had selected over $100 in merchandise, and had been in the store at least 30 minutes. My 3 year old needed to use the restroom. I was told by the employee that there is no restroom, and I needed to take her to Marsh to potty. Hello----IT IS A CHILDREN'S STORE!!! How can you tell me to take my child elsewhere to use the restroom???? At that point, I put everything on the counter, told the employee in no uncertain terms that if my 3 year old could not use their bathroom that I was not buying anything in their store, and walked out. I will NEVER shop there again, and will encourage everyone I know to do the same. more

We went in for clothing after shopping some of the other baby stores in the area. We found prices for the used items to be WAY too high. We found body suits priced at $20. When I asked why they were so high, I was told that brand name "Absorba". We had just came from Carmel Baby Boutique in Carmel IN. We seen the EXACT same outfit brand new for $17.00. The employee (possibly owner) was VERY rude, and did not want to listen. I will NEVER go back there. I will buy my stuff new from Carmel Baby Boutique at even better prices. Really sad that they feel they need to deceive the customer by stamping a used product as a better price. When in fact they were charging $3.00 over MSRP.
