On The Square Gun & Pawn

Today I purchased a Chiappa M4-22 from On the Square Gun and Pawn. After completing all the necessary paperwork and paying for the product they repackaged it back into its original shipping box. I noticed that they only put one magazine into the box. I questioned the salesperson as to why only one magazine when all reports on internet said they came with two magazines. He told me NO that the manufacturer was now only shipping them with one magazine. Due to the all the uproar with high capacity magazines. I KNEW better and started looking on the box and sure enough written on the box comes with TWO magazines, so I showed this to the salesperson and asked why are you STEALING from your customers,he said he would have to check with management. He came back out with a second magazine put it in the box and said have a nice day. I will and will never return to this business. more

HORRIBLE customer service! I bought a gun (brand new supposedly). It did not fire right and I called to see what could be done about it. They said to bring it in. I brought it in the same day and when I got there 2 guys were behind the counter and neither of them offered any assistance until I had to approach them for help. One of the guys told me the gunsmith wasn't there and I would have to leave my gun. I asked if he knew how long it would take to get it back and he said, ""He will see it when he sees it."" My husband pushed further about how long it would be and he said about a week and a half. I called up there after a week to see where it was at as far as being looked at and they told me it would be a minimum of 6-8 weeks before it even got LOOKED at! I spoke to the VERY RUDE manager and he talked down to me and told me that they only have one gunsmith and he goes to all the gun shows and will be out of town most of the time. He said I could come and pick up my gun and take it somewhere else even though they have the warranty! I ended up hanging up on him because he was talking in circles and treating me like a moron. When I got there to pick up my gun he told me I was very rude for hanging up on him and I told him that they were rude for lying about how long it would take to have my gun done. Then he told me it was going to take a lot longer taking it somewhere else. They are all very rude and do not deserve to be in business. They are extremely expensive too, especially to be a pawn shop! The only reason we bought the gun when we did is because Academy couldn't keep it in stock. It ended up costing more at this pawn shop and came with less. PLEASE DON'T MAKE MY SAME MISTAKE! I have already filed a complaint with BBB as well! more

Do not waste your time, money or effort. I paid for a handgun 2 weeks ago. I have been lied to on 5 diferent occasions and the manager told me ""I pissed him off and I would get it when I get it!"" I still have not received it and have turned them into the BBB Complaint ID#: 27261590\r Business Name: On the Square Gun and Pawn\r I had to call them 5 times. Never once got a call telling me they needed information. I was told it is my responsibility to get them a copy of the FFL license of the FFL I wanted the gun shipped to.They are very rude, dishonest, care nothing about customers, and told me since the guy who ships guns for them has kidney stones; that they would ship it whenever he returns. Even though they are enjoying the cash I paid them 2 weeks ago. Absolutely appalling and despicable people! Dont believe me look up the BBB compalint and I will post their response to the BB when I receive it ""IF they respond"" They obviously dont care about customers. I pretty much gave them my cash for nothing in return. more
