Really bad and dishonest company. They sell insurance you can't use. Hand out brochures indicating they participate in AMSA arbitration program if you have a dispute. That is a lie. You do not want to do business with these people. They are dishonest. Supposed owner provided e-mail address for grievances that didn't work. Don't return phone calls. You will be sorry if you do business with these folks. more

I am writing this comment while sitting in a beach chair and my computer is sitting on a box. On the Spot movers picked up my furniture July 11th in San Antonio Texas. It is now August 8th, and I still havent received my furniture. Terrible service, I call and no one returns my calls. They are basically just taking my money and bringing my furniture when they have time. This is the worse thing that has ever happen to me. Moving almost cross country, sleeping on a air mattress. So good luck if you decide to have this company move you, cause you might end up like me, looking like a fool. more

Excellent crew, very professional and courteous. The morning of my move, the office called to explain that the crew was running late due to the rain. When the crew arrived, they worked in the house while it rained and moved my stuff into the truck only when it stopped. I really appreciated that! I don't know how they kept everything dry, but they did! I would definitely recommend them, especially if you care for your furniture.\r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r The process was fully explained and the movers were on time. The only thing these guys did on time was collect money. A day late delivering furniture, showed up at night with a truck and expected to be able to unload it at all hours of the night until they finished. Packers were 7 hours late and therefore did a lousy job because they had to rush packing and left a bunch of stuff. Management the rudest I've ever dealt with when you could reach them and they didn't return phone calls. Nice workers in the field though. I would avoid this business at all costs. They were not low bidder but chose them because the salesman seemed honest. Handed out a brochure indicating they were related to the Stevens moving company (a national company). They were not. more

I will put average because there are reasons I would recommend them and reasons I would not. Their price to move the items we needed moved was far and away the best price we received. \r \r I currently work for a business where if you can do NOTHING else, provide the BEST customer service possible. With that said this company's follow-up and customer service was some of the worst we have experienced. They did not proactively return phone calls on a change in moving items affecting to estimate. We were told they would arrive at 7:30am...again no proactive call to advise otherwise. AFTER we called several times, we finally got an answer. Apparently the movers did not LEAVE until 7:45 or so meaning the dispatcher knew they were going to be late, but did not call. The movers FINALLY arrived and started loading around 9:00am. Just a LITTLE bit of customer service and damage control could have made a WORLD of difference. 5 stars on price...-5 stars on customer service. more
