I really do love this resturaunt I do like there food. Every time I eat there the staff is really friendly, the drinks are served right away. They give you great corn chips and tasty salsa. I love there chicken fajita platter it's grilled white chicken with vetables and beans, rice, and totillas. It's my faveroite plate I usually eat it when I go and It's huge you can never eat it all at one time. I over all have a great experience everything I go to on the border. Oh and I like the old western theme they got going on. I have visited lots of these resturaunts in many different states and everyone I ate at was good. more

Don't cross the border just yet... 7/2/2006

I totally agree with the last review. The queso is pretty dang good, but the salsa is always warm and watery--yuk-o. And the chips are totally over salted. We've had terrible service almost everytime we go there; we even had to alert the manager once. Luckily we got free coupons for the only good thing about this place, the queso. If you want the most a-maz-ing salsa, you have got to go to Ted's Cafe Eschindito either in Edmond or Nichols Hills/OKC. Oooh my mouth is watering thinking about the salsa--its super fresh, chunky and cool with all real ingredients. Delicious. more

On the Border-not a fan 4/10/2006

I have to say that I am not a fan of On the Border. The chips are bland and the salsa is average. When I eat at a Mexican food restaurant, I expect good chips. I would rather eat a bag of Tostitos. However, I must say the queso is good. Food is okay, but more expensive than El Chico, which is much better. Margaritas are good, but I wouldn’t go just for that. I must say that I am not happy when my co-workers suggest it as a lunch destination. There lots of other good places, like Tarahumara. I'd rather go to a local place than a chain. They used to have good happy hour specials, but they've done away with those. Sometimes they have good fajita specials. more
