The hotel staff are friendly and accomodationg unless a problem arises and then a lesson in service recovery would probably be beneficial. We asked for a wake up call but did not receive one. Because we woke up late, my husband had about 15 minutes to shave, shower and leave for a business meeting. I called the front desk to inform of the missed wake up call and ask about any type of express breakfast options for my husband only. I was put on hold, which in not a problem, until the staff member returns to confront me with the fact that we were not on the wake up call list. I assured her that we did (indeed) ask for a wake up call and again inquired about express breakfast as time was quickly running out for my husband. I was told that I could call room service. I did not find the room service option as being a reasonable solution when time is of the essence. Eventually, I asked to speak to a Supervisor and was put on hold for an extended amount of time which I suspect may have been intentional. When the supervisor finally answered the call with a bit of an attitude...... I end up exploding, my husband leaves without food and all I could think about is this problem could have been resolved in less then 2 minutes by someone just throwing a bagal into a brown paper bag. Instead, we (myself and the Omni) waste about 15 minutes of our lives engaged in a battle. Finally, the hotel appears to be kid friendly in their marketing, claiming; complementary kid packs (coloring books, crayons, etc.), child menus and colorful cups with free refills, but there appears to be inconsistencies once you arrive. We were told they were "out of child packs" but, in fairness, they did offer a free in room movie in its place. The hotel Restaurant was without kids menus and did not bother to take our drink orders, instead bringing out kid cups filled with water.... I guess to cut down on refill costs. Also, our kids burgers were under cooked with red juice present and had to sent back.
